Sisters Canvas for Great Nanna

Hi everyone! I certainly hope you are all well and geared up for some inspiration today.

As you have seen, over the past week, I have been creating some canvases as gifts for Mothers Day this Sunday. Today I have the third and final one to share with you all and I decided to go Vintage Shabby Chic for this last one as it is for my dear Step Grandmother. Is that what I call her? Anyway she is Great Nanna to my kids so we leave it that LOL.

And of course some closeups. To create this background, I have used a mask with some Gesso and before the Gesso was completely dry, I have used my heat tool really close to bubble and boil that Gesso. Please be careful if you try this yourself because it can pop and its hot! Once the bubbles were cool and dry, I added some Viva Inka Gold rubbed randomly to show that texture.

I have used an array of tags, flowers, charms and flourishes to layer behind this photo of my girls. I decided to print the photo in Sepia to help it fit the project better also.

The fabulous Sisters title is of course from A2Z Scraplets and has simply been decorated using some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Suede Colour followed by some Ranger Crackle Accents.

Well that is it from me today, to all the mums and grandmas out there, I hope you get spoiled rotten this weekend and of course wish you the happiest of Mothers Days on Sunday. It's my birthday tomorrow so I am claiming all the love I can get this week hehehe.

Until next time, happy scrapping!
