Animal Friends

We have two animal friends. On this page one of them - that cat Cosines - is caught together with my eldest son. They have become good friends and Cosinus prefers to sleep in his bed. Well the way to win Cosines heart is to give him lots of food and some cuddles - easy peasy.

First I sprayed the chipboard with spray gesso. After it had dried completely, I stamped with several different stamps using Stazon Ink. Finally I used distress ink on the edges.

On the background I have used gesso and stencils and then mist and stamps.

Fancy Frame.

Hi everyone, Kerry here today to share some layouts with you.

Don't know what it is like where you are but it is freezing cold here. The fire has been going non stop. Great weather for indoor craft activities.

This layout is of my niece on her deb earlier this year.

I have used the scraplet fancy frame 2 found here.http://www.a2zscraplets.com.au/fancy_frame_2.html

We live near the beach now and had a tiny little view of the ocean, but it is a dream of ours to have a home right on the ocean. One day maybe but for now have to be content with living nearby.

I have used flowers from scraplets that have been embossed. You can find them here.http://www.a2zscraplets.com.au/lil_range-flowers_2.html

Thanks for stopping by and reading. I hope you are staying warm and getting lots of scrapping done.

Beach Bums

Good morning.  Welcome back to another week at A2Z Scraplets.

Given the cold weather we have been experiencing here in south east Queensland over the past few weeks I thought I'd warm things up a little with a summery beach layout.

I left the title "Beach Bums" raw for this layout.  I was worried that if I had painted it or treated it in any way I would lose the etched details of the shells and starfish.  Sometimes less is more...

(The sand in the little bottle is actually from Whitehaven beach!)

I hope you have a great week.
Until next time, happy crafting.

Farewell to an era

Hi all Donna here with another share for you.
This time I have created a layout for a photo of daughter
going to her year 6 Farewell (2 years ago-how time flies)

For the main title piece 'farewell' I have coloured it with a fantastic new product
It gives such a great effect on chipboard pieces, almost like they were made for each other!
I have also used the brand new Scribbly Flowers and left them raw.
I really love the effect of these flowers.
My background has been created using some Shimmerz inklingz watercolours
I hope you like these products as much as I do!

You are a dream come true

Hi,

Caz here with you today. I trust you are keeping warm if you are in Australia during our winter which has seen some crazy weather come our way.

The layout I have to share with you today uses the You are a dream come true word. I love this title it can be used for so many different subjects.

I have just painted it with a Kaisercraft paint and added a couple of pears to embellish the word. Easy and simple today.

I just added a sprinkle of pearls and tiny bling randomly to give the page a little bit of extra oomph.

I hope you have enjoyed my share today. Till next time.
Happy Crafting

Fun At The Park

Hi again! Where does the time go? I can't believe how quickly this year is flying by.

Between work, homeschool, and building a new house, I haven't had as much time in my crafty room as I would normally like, but I did get enough time this week to whip up this simple layout to share with you.

I created this layout with the Fun at the ParkChicken Wire CornerChicken Wire Border and 2 out of the set of 3 Helicopter chippies.

As usual, I've coloured the chippies with felt pens, coated them in Dimensional Magic and outlined with a gold gel pen.

I hope to get a bit more crafty time soon so I have lots more to share with you!
Until next time, keep calm and craft on :)

Sibling Love

Welcome back!  Yvette with you today to share I simple, easy, fast layout.  I have been so time poor lately and not had much time for creating.  Since it's my turn on the blog today, I had to whip up something very quickly.

I used the A2Z Scraplet title "Sibling Love" which can be found in the shop.

As I said it was a quick and easy layout.  Not all layouts need to be 'masterpieces'.  I think we all need reminding of that occasionally, including myself!

Until next time, happy crafting,
Yvette x

Me & My Girls

Hi all, Donna here
Today I have a Bright, fun layout to share.
A pic of me the girls at my recent 40th birthday weekend away.
I have used 2 A2Z Scraplet pieces on this layout.
The first is this funky chain links which I have coloured with Ceramcoat paint
And my title piece 'Me & My Girls'
I have created a Bright page by just using lots of paint for the background
and then various stamps and gelatos.
Happy scrapping!
