The Block!

Hi Deb with you today sharing a layout using a combination of A2Z Scraplets products. The family had enjoyed watching The Block on TV one year and we were in Melbourne at the end of the series and were able to see the houses.

I began by using the Distressed Brick Wall stencil and Colour Blast Paste along with a simple palette knife to put some texture on the kraft card.

Next I selected some raw chipboards and white triangles pieces.

Using some papers from a 6x6 in paper pad I cut banners and arranged them behind the photo.

Using some of our Snow cut shapes I coloured them using alcohol or permanent markers. You can use craft specific or general stationery ones. These colour smoothly and evenly, giving a crisp clear colour on the white base stock. This was then dabbed with paint and embossed using Stampendous Ancient Embossing Marine powders.

The Picket Fence Border was painted while and sprinkled in random places with Stampendous Embossing Powder Ivory.

The title shown here is a custom cut and embossed using Stampendous Ancient Embossing Powder Marine.

Until next time,
Happy Scrapping
Deb

#Family

HI everyone
Today I have a share for you full of A2Z Goodies.
I have created this layout for a photo of my extended family I have had in
my stash since 2009, so thought I had better use it.
First up I have used the double hash shape painted in black (I have cut it in half so
I can use it again on another page)
Also, I have embossed in gold glitter the #Family
from the hashtag wordlets set
And I have used 2 x star flourish to accent
the photo and also at the top of the page. These have both been
embossed with embossing enamel.
Just a quick pic of my embellie cluster
And lastly, I have used one of the A2Z stencils (Leaves)
and used it for my background with gel medium
I love the effect it gives when left to dry naturally.
Thanks for stopping By

Stencil Fun!!!

Hello Scrappers

Super excited to share some cards with you today! When I received my A2Z Scraplets kit and saw the stencils I immediately knew I wanted to make some cards!

I have 2 cards to share with you today featuring 2 different stencils. For the first card I used the Random Rectangle Stencil with some texture paste. Once the texture paste was dry I scribbled some gelatos over the top and using a wet brush spread the colour around! Here is a look at the card...

For the next card I used the Raindrops Stencil which I just love!!!! It is a really versatile stencil! here is a look at the card....

If you are anything like me and love stencils you must check them out! You can find them here!

Happy scrapping!

 Katherine :-)

Special Birthday Cards

Hello Everyone!!!

Lauren and Teddy on the job today with a couple of you beaut milestone celebrating Birthday Cards for your viewing pleasure, errrr, ummm, for your inspiration and ideas for using A2Z Scraplets :)

We started with a 5x5 inch panel in cream and did some texture stamping over it and also some DTP inking, then put some mesh tape down the left side and across the bottom, then freehand pen line around the edge.  The rest is just embellishment build up, starting with the leaves and then the doily.  Then finishing with a painted 18th Birthday in Ebony from A2Z Scraplets

This one is with a plain 5 x 5 panel, with an inked die cut, the stamped and layered cake and background making a pocket for the tiny tags and the ribbon treatment and bow.  Finished again with a wonderful chippie 21st Birthday A2Z Scraplet.

Hope you get some ideas from here.

Love Lauren xxxx

Hello Beautiful

Hi,

Caz here with you today coming from a wet and windy Tasmania. We certainly have had some shocking weather the past few weeks but with it came some much needed rain so I best not complain. So today I have a page to share that I have put together to share with you.

For the title I have used the A2z scraplet Hello Beautiful words and just give them a dusting with KaiserCraft white mist.

I have just added the A2z scraplet title just at the bottom of the project life card to give it a little dimension.

I also used one of the A2z scraplets new release stencils Hearty hearts stencil 6x6

 Products used were:
A2z scraplets  Hello Beautiful words
Patterned papers KaiserCraft
Flowers Kaisercraft and Prima
DecoArt Dimensional effects texture past
KaiserCraft white mist
Magnolia gem branches
Becky Higgins Project life card
Pearl strings
Heidi Swapp distresser

I hope you have enjoyed what I have created for you today. Till next time
Happy crafting

Hello....

Well I am finally back...

Its been a while with my husbands dad having a bad accident and us moving into a brand new house.
But everything is starting to look up again...
New house is great with all 3 girls having their own rooms and hubby's dad coming out of hospital tomorrow to come stay with us for a while during his recovery.

Because I haven't scrapped for so long, decluttering scrapping stuff and not being in the know...its been hard to get back into the swing of things.
It took me over an hour to do my first layout...this is really unusual for me as many of my friends know I can be a quick scrapper.

So today I am sharing this months challenge layout along with a couple I have completed in the last week...

Cherish the Little Things

The title means so much to me since almost loosing my father in law but also having medical problems with my children throughout the years.

Donna's Arrow Set Ebony
Kylie's Triangle Texture Ebony Shape

Here is a few close ups:

For both chipboard pieces I went with different colours to make it pop with the yellow and the arrows to blend in with the circle.

I Love Summer

This layout features my 2 nieces with Bridget.. a day spent with a slip and slide in the back yard..

Barb Wire Hearts 4 piece set

Here is a couple of close ups:

Love

Always loved this pic of bridget having melted chocolate which none of it went in her mouth..LOL

Swirl Texture Set

Loved working with this shape. The circle shapes work great together or can be cut up like I have to use in the bunting banner. Leaving raw also went well with the colour tones in my layout.

Here is a few close Ups:

Well its certainly great to be back and I thank Deb for being so caring and patient with my time away from A2Z xxx

May Papercraft challenge page

Have you taken part in our Facebook challenge page yet?
You can find it HERE
This month we have this sketch for you to interpret
And here is my take.
Yes its a Christmas page, but I don't scrap my pages in any kind
of order and I really wanted to use the star/circle frame
and thought it would suit a Christmas photo with the embossed gold stars.

So head over, there are lots of entries coming in this month already!
