Double Trouble

Hello....Tanya back again with another layout for you.
I have used two different chipboard pieces.

The first one piece of chipboard is the
Double Trouble chipboard which I have embossed with
Stampendous Golden Sands Embossing Powder.
The second piece of chipboard is the Steampunk Hearts Shape
This piece has also been embossing using the same powder. I have cut
a little dangley piece of the heart chipboard that I didn't want.

That has to be the the best bit about chipboard, you can cut
it to suit how you want it. You can pretty much do anything with
chipboard - that's why I love it so much

Thanks for stopping by, see you next week.

Seaside Serenity - Karen McLaughlin

Hi A2Z Fans - Karen back with my take on this month's Challenge.  It is a sketch this month so don't forget you have only a couple of days to join in the fun.  I have used lots of lovely A2Z Chipboard.  I have used the lovely Floral Corners which come in a pack of two.  I have cut one of them in half and used it as a straight piece of chipboard and used the other as a corner just above the flowers.  I have also used a Frame which I have added the Gala Flags Border to the bottom of it. The last piece of chipboard I have used is of course the title Seaside Serenity. Thank you for looking and I hope this inspires you to join in for this month's challenge.

Just Reading by Judith Armstrong

Hi all, Welcome to another weekend.
My daughter is a mad keen reader and I wanted to document it. I snapped this photo of her whilst we were on holiday in Queensland. My husband and I were taking photos of the beach and she sat down and started to read.

The A2Z Scraplets Just Reading  title was just perfect for this layout. I first covered the chipboard with clear gesso and then I sprayed it with Dylusions ink spray.

Thanks for looking

Happy Days

Hi there.
Today I am sharing a page of an old work friend and myself.
We try to catch up every few months for lunch and this was on
one of those lunches in 2016.
I have used 3 A2Z Scraplets pieces on this layout.
In this picture you can see the wrought iron corner piece which has been embossed
with a glittery powder,
and also the word Memories which has also been embossed
(this word is a part of a larger set of 5 words, so great value for money)
The title piece, Happy days, has been embossed with the same colour as
the word memories (Colour Blast embossing powder)
And to finish off, a pretty little cluster of embellishments
Happy scrapping

"Boys" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Louise with you today to share a new scrapbook layout

"Boys"

I was immediately drawn to this honeycomb chipboard.

It came as a frame but I cut it in half diagonally to use it differently.
I gave it a coat of gesso and then layed it out on the page.

It wasn't until I started playing with paper layers and mixed media background that I decided what to do with the chipboard.
I used the Tim Holtz distress Crayons to colour the chipboard and then blended with my finger - no water needed.

The title received two coats of Colour Blast embossing powder in bling.

I've used the

Large chicken wire frame
&
My Boys scripty word

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Forever & Always

Hello....
Time to share another layout with you.
This time I have kept the chipboard as natural as possible
and just added some crackle accent to give it an aged look.

Can you see the crackle on the chipboard? It's only very subtle but just enough.
The chipboard is called Always and Forever

Thanks for stopping by, happy scrapping!

Hello.  Karen here with my interpretation of this month's Challenge.  I have gone with a holiday theme.  I have used the wordlet 'Beach Babe' and Shells.  For this chipboard.  I first covered them in gesso then when dry painted them in the colours required and then I used liquid pearls and kindyglitz to define the shells.  Thank you for looking and I hope you have a fantastic week ahead.

Zoo Adventure at Melbourne Zoo by Judith Armstrong

Good morning and welcome to another weekend.
Judith here with a layout about my daughters day behind the scenes at Melbourne Zoo as part of the holiday program there.

I have used the A2Z Scraplets Melbourne Zoo title which I inked with a Prima brown ink. I find that inking is great when you have any engraving on the chipboard as you don't loose any clarity.

Thanks for looking.

LOVE

Hello Mary here to share a layout with you today using the wonderful A2Z Scraplets Chipboard

The lovely Oval Daisy Frame  made me think 70's , so that is the theme I went with and seeing it is our 38th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow, I thought I would scrap our engagement photo.

I treated the frame by first priming with gesso, I then embossed with mauve embossing powder, outlined the flowers with white gesso  and dabbed  'bling" Colour Blast Colour paste here and there, I am finding the Bling Colour Paste is fabulous for highlighting.

with the Live, Laugh , Love Arrow words I simply painted the Love Arrow Word with Solar Gold Silks Glaze after priming with Gesso. There are 7 different sentiments in the Pack of Arrow Words, great value !
Thank you for calling by, The DT girls share so much inspiration here and there are regularly new posts for you and new products in the shop all the time . Spoilt for choice :)
Until next time
Happy Creating
Mary x

"Dude" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today sharing a new layout.

"Dude"

This is a very photo light layout but I'm so pleased with the monochromatic feel of this page.

I've used the

Spotty Circles Set of 4

They've been treated with a combination of white and turquoise embossing powder.
The large turquoise circle has been raised up with mounting squares to help lift it off the page.

I've also lightly embellished with a Project Life card - trimmed to fit the circle and flowers and flair.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.
