Shared Moment - Karen McLaughlin

Hi - Karen with you today to show you these great pieces of A2Z Scraplets chipboard.  First up is this lovely flourish corner which comes in a pack of two.  I have just painted this piece white.  Another piece is the set of simple greens which come in a set of 4.  For this I have used moulding paste for texture and painted them white.  I have also used some of the hearts from the Stars and Hearts Icons set and of course not forgetting the title Shared Moment.  Thank you for looking and I hope you have a great weekend.

Smudge just chillin

Hello All, it's the weekend again - Yay!!!

Today I am sharing a layout about our adopted cat Smudge. This photo was taken in my craft space; Smudge will often come and sit with me as I scrapbook.

I have used a patterned paper and created a simple background on top of it, using only some distress oxide (bundled sage and forest moss) and some stamping with black ink.

I have used some flourishes on the edge of the page. These come in a set of 4 - (2 large and 2 small) these are the large.

The photo is framed with torn paper scraps, and a few die cut flowers. I have finished the page with a few flowers, washi tape, and resin hearts and dots.

Thanks for looking.

your love lights up my life

Hi Heidi here today sharing with you my page of my lovely husband.
It was our 15th wedding anniversary yesterday so I thought id scrap this page of him.
Ive used the title your love lights up my life
all I did to the title was rub gesso on it and left it a bit raw to give the beach vibe

Lovin Summer by Anne

Hiya, Anne here with another
Friday layout to share.
This layout was made by first making a background of Brusho's on watercolor paper.

The A2Z Scraplet Scalloped background shape was painted in acrylic paint  & then had micro beads attached.

The A2Z Scraplet Lovin Summer word was painted in Magenta acrylic paint, glitter applied to the lower half then highlighted using a black Sharpie pen.

Flower type shapes were made using Brusho's on watercolor paper, hand drawn then cut out.

The layout was complete using a few die cut embellishments, some hand drawing and rhinestones.

Cheers!

"I hope we catch a fish" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Here to share a new scrapbook layout "I hope we catch a fish"

The "Hope" word was all that was left from the "Dream word set" but I just couldn't work out how to use it. I started by covering it with black gesso.
Then I looked through my photo stash and came up with this one of Master C throwing a line.
I decided to turn the word "hope" into a longer title and used up some of my letters.

I left the layout quite simple with lots of paper tearing and layers.
The black star is a piece cut with my Silhouette Cameo.

I also used one of the "Nested Circles" and covered it with glitter - then added patterned paper behind it.

Items on this page are from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'Boys Rule" collection.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Hello Beautiful

Good morning all

Tanya here again to share another layout with you.
This one is of my daughter Leah when she was in Venice last year.

The Hello Beautiful chipboard title I have used has been embossed with a chunky
embossing powder that gives it a kind of textured mottled look.

Happy Baby by Brenda Caldow

Hello crafty friends and welcome to A2Z Scraplets, Brenda here with you today to share my latest page using two awesome chippies. The photo is of my youngest son Harley who is no longer this sweet little bub but 14yrs/old. Oh how they grow.
So on with the page -

For both the chippies I have used the same method. For the title I first used Prima Art alchemy and painted it on.

I then dabbed white Dylusions Paint over the top. Once this was dry the chippie was finished. Easy but effective.

For the hanging hearts I did the hearts in the same method as the title. For the flourish part I started by first colouring it with a dark green Distress Marker (2 coats).

Once I had done that I then dabbed some light green Dylusions over it, allowed to dry and then over the whole of the hanging hearts I dabbed the white Dylusions Paint.

Thanks you for dropping into A2Z Scraplets and I hope I have inspired you with my page just a little and that you like how I have done my chippies. Please keep scrolling down to see some other wonderful creations from the Design Team.
Also there is still plenty of time to join in with our latest challenge over on the A2Z Scraplets Facebook page. We would love to see your creations and you never know you might be this months lucky winner.

My faithful walking companion

Hello Everyone. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Today I am sharing a layout featuring a beautiful double heart chippie from A2Z Scraplets.

A fitting layout for "Steptember". I now try to walk 10,000 steps a day and Dexter is my faithful walking companion. He loves his walks, and his enthusiasm makes our walks more enjoyable.

I just love these scribble hearts. A lovely large size but still very delicate. In the A2Z Scraplets shop (click on the tab at the top of the page) there is a fantastic range of heart chippies; in SHAPES - Hearts and Stars.

On top of my usual mixed media background I have used "Kylies swirl border"; found in - BORDERS.

Don't forget to pop over to our challenge Facebook page to check out our challenge for September - it's all about the men in our lives. We would love to see your creations.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting!
