Welcome to our new team member

Today I'd like to introduce our newest team member Yvette McDonald. Yvette has been a guest designer with us for the last month and we are thrilled to inform you that she will be with us as an ongoing contributor.

Today I will share some of her gorgeous pages as a taste of what is to come.

The following page uses the title Baby Girl and one of A2Z Scraplets flourishes.

Yvette's next page uses a number of chipboards Fancy Butterfly, Ornate Frame and Heart You.

The last one is a great boys page using some of the skating chipboards, Skater and Skateboarders

Until next time

21st Birthday Mini Album

Hi
Caz here sharing with you today a mini album I made for my besties daughter. I have watched this young lady grow from birth till now so I wanted it to be special. Something she could keep as a memento. She has a 21st birthday party tonight so I have added 2 pages so the guests can sign and leave a memento of the night for her to look back on. Her party colours were purple black and silver so I chose those as the colours of the album.

First is the album as a whole and then I will show each page individually before it was binded together. Sorry if the quality of my photos is not the best. We have floods here at the moment it has rained cats and dogs since Monday and yesterday and today snow also so natural light is almost non existent.

First photo as I said is the album all binded together. The front cover has the month scraplet and a vine scraplet on it that I wanted to be all sparkly. So I ran the scraplets right side down through my Xyron sticker maker then sprinkled with glitter, was so easy and gave the effect I wanted. I have used this effect throughout the album on scraplets.

A close up of the front cover before I binded it all together. each page looks so different without the pages behind it, as the album is layered they look different alone.
Inside the 21 was hard to decorate so I kept it simple a few petals and then a little poem.

3rd page we have a little poem and space for a special photo.
4th page a page for the guests to sign. More of the star scraplets all glittered up.
5th page being the second page guests can sign.

6th page and the one which was hardest to photograph because of no sunlight but the scraplet butterfly actually has a black glittered centre and a purple glitter outer. AM a little sad the photo does not show this and I rephotographed oodles of times. More of the vine scraplet also and my message to the birthday girl.

I used the following products:

I do hope she likes it. I have had a blast making it for her. I hope you have enjoyed todays little bit of inspiration.
Till next time

More Shares

Hi, Kerry here today to share a few layouts i have done recently. I love using scraplets because they are so easy to use and can easily alter them to suit any project that you are working on.

I have a couple of 8 1/2 x 11 layouts first up. One of glenn and i. I have used this awesome frame which you can find here http://www.a2zscraplets.com.au/love_poloroid_set.html

Haha. If you have boys you would have lots of silly shots. I painted this title yellow to stand out. You can find it here http://www.a2zscraplets.com.au/boys_will_be_boys_gr.html

Another cool scraplet title that you can find here http://www.a2zscraplets.com.au/this_is_awesome_pl_word.html

Here is another title word that i have again painted. You can find it here http://www.a2zscraplets.com.au/love_this_life_pl_word.html

Wedding Bells

With a large family we never seem to be short of weddings, births or anything in between.

My first layout is using some new Scraplets - "Wedding rings corner", "Vintage dress form" and one of the leafy flourishes. A mixture of techniques including crackle paint, distress paints, mists and dimensional magic have been used to alter the chipboard.

A close up of the crackle paint and metallic distress paints used.

Blending the new with the old. The original flourishes have a place in every scrappers chipboard stash. Coming to the website as new release Scraplets are the title "A perfect Moment" and the circular framing piece "Scribble Heart frames", a set of 3 fantastic framing scraplets that suit an unlimited number of photos and pages.

Simply painted with distress paints and misted with a pearl shimmer adds an elegant finish for this wedding album's layouts.

One of the new additions to our family - Miss Molly. One of her favourite places for a while was in my paper shelving.

I love my dimensional magic and this time I used clear and sprinkled an iridescent glitter over it whilst wet.

Until next time, Happy Scrapping *Deb*
