New & Old

This past month I have been very naughty and bought lots of new stuff… papers, sticker titles, washi tape and the list goes on. I've also been inundated with some amazing new A2Z Scraplets…the best part is I got  to play with it all… but I thought I would change it all up a bit and add brads. I started buying brads over 10 years ago and have a massive box full of them and decided one of my layouts needed me to dust off the box and create with them.

Love This Guy - I have used this cute clip and the great new circles.  I have painted them with Gesso and then sanded them off to reveal the raw chipboard in places underneath.

Year in review - This scraplet has been painted with Gesso to seal it and then i have used tattered angels ink to color. I have blotted it several times inbetween coats so that a little of the white is coming through on the scraplet. A great scraplet for block placement and finishes the layout off with a title.

What type of things have you purchased over the years and have a lot of that really you can dust off and start using again?  I have so many things and as I am a hoarder I will probably never get rid of any of it. It's great how the old can blend with the new quite easily sometimes its that one thing that you needed to just finish off your page.
