Mother and Son

Good morning and welome!

I have a layout today featuring a photo of my son and myself, and the A2Z Scraplets title "Mother & Son" and flourish.

The title and flourish were coated with gesso, then inked with some Prima Chalk ink and finally rubbed over with some Inka Gold.

As you can see in the photos of the title, I have actually cut out the word 'and' from the title to personalise it a little and also to make the space that the title took up a little smaller.  Just shows that you don't have to leave the chipboard as it is - they can be cut up to be used however you like.

Don't be afraid to cut your chipboard to make it work better for your layout - it could just make it work better on your layout rather than dismissing it all together.
