Laugh Every Day

Hey - I'm back again with another blog post.

Todays layout has a couple of different pieces of chipboard that I thought you might like. I bet
you could use the Laugh Every Day chipboard as a title on lots of your layouts, I certainly could.

The Flourish Corner comes in a pack of two which is great value and as you can see, you
don't have to use both on your layout, save one for another page you do.

Cards by Brenda Caldow

Hello and as always welcome to the A2Z Scraplets Blog. Brenda here with you today to share with you two cards I have created using five different chippies.
My first card is a thank you card and I have used two A2Z chippies on this one.

For the chicken wire I cut it to the size I wanted to fit the card and then I used a silver paint pen and painted it. You could use any type of acrylic paint I just like using my pens for some things.

For the Torso I chose to use texture paste and apply it with a pallet knife ruffly and the heat with a heat gun to make it peak and bubble. Once this was done I then used Dylusions purple pain and my finger so as to only colour the top of the Modeling Paste. For the stand I used Distress Ink with a sponge over the Modeling Paste.

My second card is a birthday card for a little girl. On this card I have used three A2Z Chippies.

For the leafy Vine I coloured it with a Green Distress Marker and then went over it with some Glitzin' Glamour - Crystalina which is so glittery.

With the Scalloped Background I did the same as the Chicken Wire just this time I used a Gold Paint Pen but as before you can use any Acrylic Paint.

The Merry Go Round was fun and basically done like the Torso. I first used the Texture Paste, heated it with the heat gun and then it was time to get out the Dylusion Paints and my finger again. The gold was the paint pen and my finger. Once this was dry I then used the Glitzin' Glamour over the whole Merry Go Round.

I hope you have liked popping in to see my latest creations and remember if you want any of these chippies just click on the link and it will take you right to them. There are so many things in the store to inspire you and scrolling further down the blog there is loads of inspiration from the Design Team.

Love Us - Karen McLaughlin

This great photo was taken on a beautiful beach in Ireland.  We had to walk a long way to get to the sea.  How great is the chipboard flourish.  I have used iridescent medium over the painted chipboard.  I have also used one of the arrow words from the pack of 8.  I hope you have a great week ahead.

Just Chillin

Hello, Carolyn here today sharing a layout using the great A2Z Scraplets title "Just Chillin" which was released in May.

I love this photo of Kenzie taken at the Tour Down Under Bupa stage finish line. The title says it all - Just Chillin.

To colour the title I simply used stamped pigment ink. It can be found in the May Release category in the shop.

The background lattice chipboard comes in a 6 x 6 inch piece which I cut up. There was a leftover piece that I can use on another layout.

To colour the lattice I roughly stamped it with black ink and then rubbed sections with Art Alchemy wax to give it a metallic sheen.

This is found in SHAPES - Texture/Decorative - Diamond mesh shape.

Until next time Cheerio!!

Happiness Is... by Anne

with a new layout

I made this layout for the Scrap the Boys July challenge.  To make this layout I hand cut my stars and sewed around them. I then splattered ink, then attached coordinating cardstock to "color" my stars.

My A2Z Scraplet word Happiness Is and some of the Li'l stars I painted in a metallic paint.

With my A2Z Scraplets, a few embellishments (Coco Vanilla) and photo, my page was done!

Cheers!

The Perfect Dress

Good morning xx

The chipboard piece that I have used in this layout is from our A2Z Scraplets May release.
The Perfect Dress chipboard title has been embossed in a pink to match the dress of Miss Sophie.
I wanted to add to my title so I used pale pink sticker letters to finish my title off.

Have a wonderful week and I'll see you again next Tuesday but be sure to pop in everyday and check out the other ladies layouts xxx

Ballerina by Brenda Caldow

Hello crrafty friends and welcome to A2Z Scraplets Blog, Brenda here with you today to share my latest page. I have created my page using three fantastic chippies.
The photo is of my girlfriends daughter Meghan who won a placing at a ballet completion.

I have used the Ballerina title, Diamonds and the flower.

For my title chippie I simply painted it red. Nothing fancy as I felt there was enough going on with the other chippies and to leave it just red made it pop a little.

As you can see I have only used two small pieces from this three set. I have cut two pieces from the larger boarder piece as I had it left over from using the other two on projects. The best bit with this is if yu don't use it all there are other places and time you can. I still have more now for another project if not needing a lot. Now for how I finished it.

1. First I painted it with black acrylic paint.
2. Using a paint spatula I applied ruffly some Viva 3D Stamp Paint. (I have not stamped on it but left it in it's natural ruff form that I applied it)

For the dandelion I used the following steps -
1. Painted all over with black acrylic paint
2.  Using a paint spatula I applied ruffly (but a little smoother than the Harlequin boarder chippie) some Viva 3D Stamp Paint. (I have not stamped it but left it in it's natural ruff form that I applied it)
3. I applied red paint to the tips using a red acrylic paint pen.

I hope you like my page and please keep scrolling down to see what other amazing creations await by the rest of the design team.
Don't forget this months challenge over on the Facebook page as there is still time to join in with us and you never know you could be this months lucky winner.
