"A work of heart"

On this page I've used the "A Work of Heart" chipboard

I've colored it with black ink and then painted on Colour Blast Shimmer Spray "Bling" for that lovely gold shimmer.

Then I've painted the heart with red water colour to help it lift off the page.

To decorate the rest of my page, I chose to use blue and red as they were the colours in the photos.
I've used Colour Blast paste in "Just Blue" through a stencil and added minimal embellishments.

Finally I've done some journalling - Very important, don't forget to right the story.

Happy Mothers Day by Anne

Wishing all mothers a very happy mothers day and

with a layout for this months A2Z Scraplets papercraft challenge.

I've used two A2Z Scraplets in my layout here. They are A Mothers Love Scripty Word  and heart flourish from one of the many available in the shop here.

I first prepared the background by tearing and layering papers. I then applied modelling paste through a stencil.

I prepared the flourish by cutting into pieces, and painting with white acrylic paint. I sprinkled glass pieces over the heart shape.

My A2Z Scraplet title A mother's Love was painted, then covered in silver gilding flakes.

I layered tulle, tags, silk leaves, and cardstock under my photo together with the chipboard.

I then placed my cardstock photo matts and photo.

The layout was completed with embellishments including sequin bow, flair and resin heart, ribbon flowers & tag from my stash. Come and join the challenge over here.

Heart and Stars by Anne

Hello, it's Anne (AKA Gorge Iss) here,

 February is the month for hearts and love so here is my layout.

For my page I've used the Scribble heart and stars frame. I painted this with black acrylic paint and the stars embellished with a Wink of Stella pen. The frame was then coated in Glossy Accents for added shine.

This layout was made with applying white acrylic paint, stamping and paint splatters in black and apricot. Embellishments including bow, flair, die cuts, tags, doily and flowers were arranged around the frame. Here's a close up.
