On the Farm .....

Deb with you again today sharing a layout I did of my youngest daughter and her pets. Yes, a pig, calf and a dog!

My husband and I recently took some time out and what better relaxation than to throw some photos, paper collections, chipboards and bits and bobs in and scrap in between walks, coffee and lunches. I'd set myself a challenge having to use what I'd packed.

 A close up of the Chipboard. With limited supplies I have just inked the chipboard with a couple of colors to give it some character.

My next page is one of my grandmother, many years ago in her younger days. 

A close up of the chipboard hinges. Again, with limited supplies all I have done is inked the chipboard with a pigment and metallic ink.

I have also simply inked the Dangles to give them a vintage look.

 I have used the same combination of inks on the leafy flourish.

Using A2Z Scraplets for project Life and a video tutorial from the process

Today I am showing a Project Life spread using 9 differnt Chipboard elements from A2Z Scraplets.

I only used white and black gesso on the scraplets to get the same style as the PL cards.

My A2z Birthday Post

Hi

Caz here with you again today.

It's a very special day for me. On this day October 6 2009 I was first accepted onto the A2z scraplets design team. What a wonderful journey it has been. I was hoping to make this an extra special post as my first grand baby was due on September 28 but she has not arrived as yet and Mum is being induced on the 5th at 4 pm. It is actually the 5th when I am writing this post so I can be at the hospital with them. I had planned to do something big for my birthday post but waiting on baby has pushed everything aside. My layout is a photo shoot I did with my son and daughter in law at 37 weeks, with just 3 weeks till baby's due date.

 

I have used beautiful script word

I also used Months arrows

 And a similar ornate oval frame

All the chipboard pieces I heat embossed with an antique white embossing powder

I hope you have enjoyed my share and next time I can show off my gorgeous little grand baby.

Scrapping memories ......

Hi, Deb with you today. I came across this photo amongst some others of my school many years ago. It brought back memories and I just had to scrap it to share it with my family. 

I have inked and embossed the chipboard pieces. Using a brown ink and unevenly scattering embossing powder over it to give a rustic look.
