"Pawprints on my Heart" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

My layout "Pawprints on my Heart"

I've used the seriously cute
chipboard. I've given the chippie a coat of white gesso. I've used
Colour Blast "Bling" embossing powder on the word "heart" and coloured the other part with Distress Crayons.

received a coat of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Royalty"

I didn't really start with a purple theme but I love the Royalty embossing powder so I kind of ran with it. No mixed media but a lovely symmetrical page.

Thanks for visiting.

"Follow your heart" scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

I've got a new layout to share "Follow your Heart"

I'd previously used this cut file and had the leftovers adhered to this beautiful Heidi Swapp "Magnolia Jane" 12x12 paper - I hunted around for a chipboard to perfectly match my page.

The Nuvo gold embossing powder was a little rough (I think I burnt it - whoops) - but I kind or like the grungy feel with the soft background.

Thanks for visiting.

"Father & Son" mixed media Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

I've got a new mixed media layout to share with you "Father & Son"

I started this page as something completely different.
When I got stuck, I reached for my A2Z Scraplets chipboard stash.

I've included the
treated roughly with Nuvo embossing powder - black.

I could have given the chipboard a second coat of embossing powder for even coverage, but I actually like the grungy feel of the half coated chipboard.

Other elements on this mixed media page are stamping, texture paste, spray mists, hessian, die cuts and collectables.

Most elements are from the Kaisercraft "Time Machine" collection.

"Smile and be happy" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

My layout "Smile & Be Happy"

I didn't really know what to do with this background paper.
It's so busy. I decided to give it a coat of clear gesso and then I painted the background with varying complimentary Kaisercraft mists.

I've used the

I've given it a coat of Nuvo glitter embossing powder.
Paper cluster, stitching and some black splatters finished this layout off.

"You got this" scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I've got a bright fun layout for you ...

"You got this"

This page started with the
fabulous "You got this" chipboard
and the photo.

I've given the chippie a coat of white gesso then coloured with my Tim Holtz Distress Crayons.
Once dry, I covered with clear embossing powder and heat set.

I went searching for some papers and I found this arrow rainbow paper.
I decided to use my Tim Holtz Distress Crayons on white cardstock and cut the paper into strips.
To re-create this background you simply draw a circle on the paper and smudge the crayon with your dry finger. I chose colours that matched my paper with an emphasis on yellow.

Some stamping, minimal embellishing and the fabulous chipboard was all this page needed.

Thanks for visiting.

Off the Page Canvas project by Louise

Hi Crafters

I've created a small canvas project to share with you.

"It's a wonderful life"

I've used the

I've covered them with Nuvo "Glitter Noir" embossing powder.
So sparkly!!

I'd love to hear your opinion on whether to add a little more mixed media to this piece.
I kind of like it plain but think some gesso and ink splatters with some paste and extra colour, might help give it that little something extra.

Leave me a comment if you'd like to see me "mess" it up a little.

Thanks for visiting.

A Christmas decorating canvas by Louise + process video

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today.

I'd like to share with you a Christmas wall hanging created using some fabulous chipboard products.
I've also created a process video as part of my
12 Days of Christmas YouTube project.

"Tis the Season"

Here's a close up.

The "Sparkle" chipboard has gone through the minc machine and been treated with gold foil.

The flag banner received a coat of white gesso and gold embossing powder.

A lot of the extras on this canvas came from the Christmas decorating section of my local discount store.

I love the way it looks on the wall and the bells jingle which gives this piece an awesome festive feel.

You can find these chipboard pieces in the
Store here

If you'd like to see how I created this, please check out the process video:

"Just Perfect" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today, sharing a new layout:
"Just Perfect"

For this layout I've used the Kaisercraft Sea Breeze collection and teamed it with a lovely burlap ribbon I found at my local discount store.

These two chipboards are "Just Perfect" - sorry, not sorry!

Find A2Z Scraplets "Just Perfect" here
or
"Large butterfly corner" here

I decided to simply heat emboss them as they are so pretty and detailed, they didn't need a lot of treatment.

I've used Colour Blast Steel and Envy on these chipboards.

Thanks for visiting.

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise here of Timeless Craft Mumma
sharing a layout entitled "Moments"

I've used words from the
set and treated it with a layer of gesso, black acrylic paint
and then yellow embossing powder.

The background is more black acrylic paint and yellow shimmer watercolour.
While the photos were important to this layout, the story was my focus.

Thanks for visiting.
