"Pawprints on my Heart" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

My layout "Pawprints on my Heart"

I've used the seriously cute
chipboard. I've given the chippie a coat of white gesso. I've used
Colour Blast "Bling" embossing powder on the word "heart" and coloured the other part with Distress Crayons.

received a coat of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Royalty"

I didn't really start with a purple theme but I love the Royalty embossing powder so I kind of ran with it. No mixed media but a lovely symmetrical page.

Thanks for visiting.

"Zoom" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

I'm sharing a new layout titled "Zoom"

I started this layout with the
which I've treated with a coat of gesso followed by gold acrylic paint.
I also mounted it on the patterned paper to help it lift off the page!

Papers and elements on this page are from Kitaholic Kit Club and include the patterned papers, flair, thickers and embellishments.

I started this page by creating as I normally would - patterned background paper with layers.
I decided it was looking a little bit like everything else I create so tilted it on an angle - trimmed the background, mounted on white card and added some machine stitching.

I just love how this one turned out. So simple and easy but really different!

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Meow!

Hi all! I don't know about you, but I love creating layouts about my fur-babies! They provide an awful lot of gorgeous moments to scrap :) This is my precious Dumpling, he's a real character!

I've used the A2Z Scraplet - Meow, from the  Meow, Purr, Sleep wordlets. It's been coloured in with a yellow ZIG chalk pen and outlined with a black gel pen.

I love grunging my layouts up a bit simply by adding some staples, give it a try!

Until next time, keep calm and craft on!

November New Releases with Amy Prior

Hi everyone! Amy Prior back today to share some more inspiration using the amazing November NEW RELEASES from A2Z Scraplets. There are so many new releases that they are taking longer than expected to get them on the website but keep your eyes on the new releases section of the website daily for new additions. Click here for the NEW RELEASE SECTION of the website.

I actually have an incredible 18 layouts to share with you all so I won't get them all shared today because let's face it, that post would be huge and would be such an epic and awesome overload of inspiration so I will do half today and half next week.

Awesome & Fabulous

This first layout, titled Awesome & Fabulous used the seriously awesome new A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Shapes Arrows Mini - Set of 16 as well as the new Small Awesome & Fabulous Chipboard Titles. I have decorated the arrows using various spray inks and then a layer of Glossy Accents to give them an enamel appearance and the Chipboard title was given a coat of White Enamel Accents also by Ranger. I have also used the A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Large Starburst.

Cupcake Decorating

For this next layout titled Cupcake Decorating, I have used the awesome new A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Shapes Fence 4 which I have covered with random thin amounts of Crackle Paint and then sprayed over the top with some Gold & Brown Lindys Stamp Gang Moon shadow Sprays. For this layout I have also used the fabulous Tree of Hearts Stencilet also from A2Z Scraplets using some Modelling Paste and then adding some Inka Gold rubbed over the top. The fabulous garden of flowers and papers used are all from Inkido Papercrafts Scandinavia and aren't they divine? Lots of fussy cutting brought this layout to life.

Epic & Awesome

This next layout is using one of the new circle words available from A2Z Scraplets and is not yet on the website so keep an eye on the NEW Scraplets Section here for when it is uploaded. I have simply painted an Ombre effect onto this EPIC chipboard title using Liquid Pearls in White Opal & Peacock Green using a paint brush. I have also used one of the new release A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Mini Arrows on this layout which I have simply painted Black. I have also used the A2Z Scraplets Pattern 1 Stencilet on the background which I have smeared really random bits of modelling paste with and then rubbed some gelatos colour onto the texture.

Flower Arranging

This next layout featuring my eldest Mia, learning the art of flower arranging, has used lots of the gorgeous new A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Mini Arrows that were all painted using Black Onyx & White Pearl Liquid Pearls in an Ombre Design. I have also used a few of the A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Shapes-Vine which I have misted with various shades of green sprays including Mint Heidi Swapp Color Shine & Fresh Lime Dylusions Ink Sprays. The random green colours give a fabulous illusion of shadows which I love. Just excuse the letter N missing from my title. It obviously fell off somewhere between my craft room and being photographed LOL

Good Time Start & End with you

This next layout is using the uber cute new A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Shapes - Boy Girl which I have added texture paste to before misting with Blue & Black Dylusions Ink Sprays and then followed by drawing Gelatos over the top of the texture. On the background, I have also used the A2Z Scraplets Honeycomb Stencilet using some Texture Paste to help break up the repeated patterned paper.

Good Times

This layout titled Good Times uses the fabulous new release A2Z Scraplets Shapes - Frames - Live Laugh Love and they are definately a new favourite of mine cause there are just endless possibilities for these! Here I have painted them with Gesso to prime and then added some Water Colour Paints to create a fun colour washed ombre effect. The papers used for this layout are from the Color Wash collection from Pink Paislee and I just adore all the little negative die cut bits in these papers.

Love Makes the World go Round

This next fun layout is using the gorgeous new A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Love Makes the World go Round title which has been painted using Black Liquid Pearls for the bottom words and then the word LOVE has been coated in various shades of pink Flourish with a Bling Pearls underneath a coat of Glossy Accents to seal and protect the delicate placement of each pearl. I have also used the new release A2Z Scraplets Stencilet in the background which is not yet available on the website so be sure to keep an eye in the NEW SCRAPLETS section of the website here. I have used Black & White Crackle Paint on the background also doing random circles around my stencilet splatters which gave a really cool tide pool effect in the end.

Love This Life

This next layout was created using another one of the A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Circle Words Love This Life and I have decorated this using a mixture of Impasto Medium with Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst Stain Spray Colours in a marbled effect.

School Pet

This last layout to share today is using the fabulous new release A2Z Scraplets Mini Chipboard Arrows which I have simply coated with Ruby Red Liquid Pearls and then placed above the new release A2Z Scraplets Polaroid Frame with the gorgeous little cut out heart and alongside the fabulous new A2Z Scraplets Stencilet of splatters which I have used in the background with some Texture Paste. This stencilet and the polaroid frame are not yet on the website so keep your eyes on the NEW SCRAPLETS section here for these as they will be uploaded any day now!

WOW what a post and there is so much more inspiration to come over the next couple of weeks from our fabulous Design Team so stay tuned and don't forget that A2Z Scraplets now sell retail so head on over to our website and purchase the new releases direct today!
Until next time, happy scrapping!

G Love

Hi everyone its Kerry here again. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I have had a very scrappy weekend and have managed 5 finished layouts so far. But i have also managed to get 8 assignments done as well. Very happy here.

The layout i am going to share with you today is of my DH. We have only been together a couple of years and this is the first picture i have of when we were together. It is a very special picture for me and holds lots of memories which i have journalled on the journalling tag. It is sometimes easy to forget writing all your memories down and be too caught up scrapping the perfect layout.

I have used this gorgeous scraplet heart which i have painted and doodled on.

I am having so much fun playing with these scraplets. Cant wait to show you more.

A Moment In Time

Hello, I am here today to show you a layout I did for a challenge a little white ago. It was a sketch one.

Here is my layout:

This is my youngest daughter and me on her Naming Day

I have used a stencil from A2Z range with a some texture paste

The title scraplet was gessoed and painted black with Kaisercraft paint. Then I put a bit of paper under the 'in' to make that word pop a bit

The black heart I did the same as the title.

And there you go, a simple but effect way to use scraplets. Here is what they looked like:

(I just used the heart, the swirls I have used on another layout)

 And the stencil

Head HERE for the shop, remember anyone can buy from there!!!

Also don't forget this months challenge, you still have a few days to enter

Thanks for looking

The Color Room Palette#151

Hi everybody! I hope you are all well. It's Amy here today to share a recent layout using lots of yummy A2Z Scraplets. Be sure to head on over to the website here and checkout the amazing range of chipboard goodies available at awesome prices!

This layout was created using the current Color Room Palette Colours. Here is the palette and you can check out the Color Room here.

So here was my take on the colours. I decided to scrap some photos of my girls eating icecream on a recent holiday. These photos were taking on my phone using the Instagram app and I just knew the vintage feel to the photos would suit this colour palette perfectly.

On the background I have sprayed and dripped some Glimmer Mists and Lindys Starburst Stain Sprays and quickly dried with my heat gun. I am so lazy and hate waiting for things to dry so I literally have 2 heat guns in my art room LOL.

The patterned papers in the background are from various brands and collection but they just worked well with the colours. Among the strips of paper and washi tape, I have trimmed a piece of A2Z Scraplets Nested Scallop Square and coated it with a layer of Perfect Pearls Powder in blue.

I also wanted to have some swirls popping out everywhere so I have used the A2Z Scraplets Shapes Hearts & Swirls 07 Chipboard piece. To decorate I have sprayed some Simply Jane Cardboard mist and then I have added some Stickles in Lime Green to the little hearts. Aren't they just too cute poking out everywhere?

To checkout these fabulous scraplets on the website and purchase them, be sure to click the images...

Well that is it from me today I hope I have inspired you all and don't forget there is only 5 more days to get your entries into this month's colour challenge. Any shade of blue along with yellow black and white. Click here to see the original challenge blog post.

Until next time, happy scrapping!

Back from Publication

Hi Eveverybody. Today I have a layout to share with you that I made way back in March for our A2Z challenge but however I never got to add it to the blog as it was picked up by Scrapbooking memories Australia for publishing. Conditions of publishing are that you do not showcase your creation for 2 months after publication and I am now able to share with you all. It was published in Volume 14 No. 9.
I adore this A2Z You and Me Title and have added it to a A2Z heart that I kindy glitzed up with bright red glitter and then added diamond glaze on top to make it pop. Hope you have enjoyed my share
Till next time Happy Crafting

Opals and Scraplets

Hello bloggers,

It's my turn for a blog share ... it's been a while since I have used my Opals (super thick embossing powder) but after walking around the craft show a couple of weeks ago in Brisbane, I decided to get them out and have a play.

I started with some A2Z chipboard hearts, inked them up and embossed three layers of embossing powder.  Opals are brilliant for layer upon layer of embossing.  After I finished the last layer, I impressed it with a rubber stamp to give it some dimension.  (Don't use cuttlebug folders ... not a good idea!! Yes, speaking from experience - the opals are too hot for the plastic. And be careful not to touch the hot opals ... blisters!!)

Once the stamped impression had dried and cooled, I then rubbed in some Metallic Rubons.  This dulls down the shine of the Opals a little and adds some extra colour.  I did Red Opals with a gold rubon, and Gold opals with a red and gold rubon.  The little red heart also has some dimensional magic over the surface.

And here they are on a layout.  I really struggle to photograph acetate!  It looks great in real life, but I always manage to get a reflection in the photo!

Thanks for stopping by. We'd love to see what you create with Scraplets and Opals :)

Happy Weekend!!

Sandra
