"So happy together" scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Time to share a new layout "So happy together"

So 2018 has seen me focus on stash busting instead of "shopping" for new supplies.
I am loving the challenge of creating with items already available to me.

Behind the photo you'll see the circular piece of black and white.
This is actually a centre piece of chipboard left overs that I've covered with washi tape and paper strips.

To title this page, I've used the "So happy together" word

Firstly I've applied a coat of Colour Blast Embossing Powder "Just Blue".
Then I've masked the "So happy" words with washi tape before painting "together" with gel medium.
While the gel medium is still sticky, I've sprinkled the whole word with glitter.

Other elements on the page are a Charm's Creation star, Colour Blast paste and lots of paper layers.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Wedding Bells

With a large family we never seem to be short of weddings, births or anything in between.

My first layout is using some new Scraplets - "Wedding rings corner", "Vintage dress form" and one of the leafy flourishes. A mixture of techniques including crackle paint, distress paints, mists and dimensional magic have been used to alter the chipboard.

A close up of the crackle paint and metallic distress paints used.

Blending the new with the old. The original flourishes have a place in every scrappers chipboard stash. Coming to the website as new release Scraplets are the title "A perfect Moment" and the circular framing piece "Scribble Heart frames", a set of 3 fantastic framing scraplets that suit an unlimited number of photos and pages.

Simply painted with distress paints and misted with a pearl shimmer adds an elegant finish for this wedding album's layouts.

One of the new additions to our family - Miss Molly. One of her favourite places for a while was in my paper shelving.

I love my dimensional magic and this time I used clear and sprinkled an iridescent glitter over it whilst wet.

A close up of the gorgeous flowers.

Until next time, Happy Scrapping *Deb*
