Misting with Chevrons 2 stencilet!

                                           Greetings A2Z Fans!

Now that the weather is getting a little cooler in America  the first day
of  Fall was on the September 21st! Today I'm Sharing a Fall LO using
a Doodlest chipboard and the Chevrons 2 stencilet. I used the stencilet as
as a frame using mist. After the mist was dried I went over the chevrons
with a water color pencil. For the Doodlet with the heart I added paint and
then I added glossy accent. Did you know A2Z Scraplets has a large variety
of Doodlets?! They are so fun to create with and so versatile to use for
so many variety of projects! Have you created any projects using the Doodlets?
We would love to see them you can share them on our Facebook page!

Here's a close up!

Thank you for visiting the A2Z blog today!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Project Life and Chipboard

Hello

This is a super quick post from me as I have not had a lot of time lately unfortunately so have stepped back a little from my role here at A2Z, however you will still see me popping up here and there with shares from my project life pages and maybe a card and layout here and there too.

Since becoming a mother, Project Life has become my preferred way to keep up with my scrapbooking and memory keeping. Life is a little crazy with an almost 10 month old, part time work, small home business and general life so it makes for a great simple way of keeping those precious memories someplace creative. And chipboard is a perfect embellishment for the pocket pages as it is flat and doesn't make the pages too bulky.

Love polaroid and girl silhouette

So sorry for the terrible photos. PL is hard enough to photograph well as it is but I have been using my 50mm lens which is not an autofocus one. Sometimes I don't realise how blurry they are until I get to the computer and I have run out of sunshine today. Thankfully a new lens will be arriving tomorrow to help with future PL pics :)

Thanks for looking.

Hello...Hello....

Its Kylie here to today to share with you my very first blog post for A2z Scraplets.
I'm feeling very excited and I do hope to inspire you all with my creations....

Love U Dad

This grungy layout which I created for Sketches with a Twist, I used a lot of paint, inks and crackle mediums.

Here are a few close ups:

I have used these chipboard products to create my layout:

Sweet Summer Memories

This photo I took recently of Emma when she was "not" goofing around!!! I have based my layout on the Scrapbook Savvy Monthly sketch.

and here are a few close ups:

I decided to leave my butterfly chipboard raw and stamp on them and finally doodle around the edges to make them stand out.

This is the chipboard which I used on my layout:

Sweet Child

This is a layout I did for the latest challenge at Scrap & Music. The song was Sweet Child of Mine. Well this is not a pic of my girls but my gorgeous and sweet niece, Alexa.

Here are a few close ups:

This time I have painted and outlined the butterfly's and then put Kindy Glitz over the top to make them sparkle!!

Well that's all my shares for today. Hope you like.
Oh....and I do hope you are joining in with our Blind Challenge this month. I can't wait to see the reveals.

Bye

Kylie

GOLF layout

Holidays always provide me with many photos to scrapbook. I've been going through the archives finding photos for my sons' childhood albums and found this photo which was taken back in 1991 when we enjoyed a family holiday at Rustenburg Kloof Resort in South Africa. I've had the GOLF title for a long time ( too long !!!) and this gave me the opportunity to use it.....just had to add the word mini in alphas and it was perfect!

The title was painted first with Kaisercraft Mango Orange, then I dabbed white paint here and there and finally inked with Yellow Ochre. I used silver paint on the stick, drew black lines on the top part and painted white on the golf ball.

Golf - Word

Thanks for visiting the blog today and if you would like a chance to win some A2Z chipboard then enter our monthly challenges. There are great prizes to be won!
Happy scrapping!
