"Picture Perfect" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today sharing a new layout
"Picture Perfect"

I just love this title but found it very hard to find a photo/s to use with it.

You can find "Picture Perfect" chipboard here

To achieve this chipboard look, follow the steps below:

- Cover chipboard with gesso
- Starting at the top, apply different colour gelatos (I used green, blue and turquoise) in an ombre effect
- smudge the colours with your finger so that they blend
- repeat with more colour until desired effect is achieved
- cover chipboard with clear embossing powder to seal

The background of this page is:

- white and silver acrylic paint spread with an old reward card
- Liquitex glass bead gel mixed with Colour blast shimmer dust in "Midnight"
- Apply through stencil allow to dry naturally

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Amaze, Cute, Favourite - Karen McLaughlin

Hi A2Z Scraplets Fans.  I am here this morning to show you a page using some lovely chipboard.  First up I have used this very pretty corner flourish which comes in a pack of two.  I have also used a Hummingbird which also comes in a pack of 2.  Then lastly, I have used some wordlets from the Set 2 Favourite.  I have also done a lot of fussy cutting and added prills to the centre of the flowers to add a bit of texture.  Thank you for looking and I hope you have a great week.

Hip Hip Hooray by Judith Armstrong

Welcome to my final share of the month. Where has the time gone. It will soon be Christmas!!!

I am sharing a layout today featuring my daughter on her 18th birthday.

I used the A2Z Scraplets Hip Hip Hooray title. I began by painting it with pink acrylic paint. Then I heat embossed it but the pink wasn't the right colour so I added some sticky embossing powder and heated that and added some glitter on top to create the effect I was after. That's the good thing about chipboard, it is quite forgiving and you can alter what you have done if it doesn't turn out as expected.

Thanks for looking

Judith xx

Love

Oh hello again......
Isn't this flourish just gorgeous,  I love that it is big and
takes up most of the length of my 12x12 page.  Shame I didn't
have two of these flourishes as I could have reversed them to
make frame around my photo.

I have kept the flourish simple and have only embossed it with black
embossing powder and then added a few flowers.

Thank you for stopping by, you will hear from me again next week.
Cheers - Tanya

HAS MY HEART

Good Morning fellow scrappers, Mary here to share a couple of  layouts with you
Firstly

HAS MY HEART

For this layout I have used the word chipboard "Cherish" and the butterfly flourish.

First I primed the chipboard with gesso, stamped the butterfly image on the chipboard and then painted with watercolours. I also used a winks of stella pen over the whole piece for a hint of shimmer and a block Perlen Pen

Again for the Cherish word chipboard I primed with gesso, painted with watercolour paints and then rubbed peach Pan Pastel over the top. Love these word chippies , they are so handy.

Next layout
Life is either a Daring Adventure or Nothing at All ~ Helen Keller

For this layout I have used the Crab Chipboard piece, which comes in the Sea Creature set , it is a set of four pieces.

firtsly I primed with gesso, then I stamped the pattern on the chipboard and coloured with a compination of Orange and Yellow enamel accents.

I hope I have given you some ideas and that you find some creative time in your day.
Until next time, happy creating
Mary x

Oktoberfest - Karen McLaughlin

Hi - Karen here just wanting to show you a page using some chipboard I had made especially for my daughter who went to Octoberfest in Munich this year.  I just had to scrap this photo of the two of them having such a good time.  I love what Debra has made and even have a tankard hidden in one of my clusters.  I have also used the star set flourish which you can see coming out of both my clusters.  I have just added glossy accents and some prills.  Thanks for looking.

New designs for December

Hello again fellow scrappers and chipboard addicts. I thought you'd like a sneak peak at what is coming next month - release date Dec 1.

Just in time to scrap your Christmas photos over the summer are the two little beauties.

We've also got some new stencils coming out. Love the fading brick wall and reverse stencil!

We've added a new range of designs to our massive library - the Mimi range. These fabulous and intricate designs are just beautiful to work with and we're very proud to have them available to you direct or through one of our retail outlets. See page tabs on blog home page.

A2Z Scraplets has always had a huge range of words and below are a couple of new ones added to the library. Our words are inspired by what I see every day people doing in their everyday lives, add to that the glimpses of adventure, tinges of love and family, seasons and special occasions. Words are about you, your memories, the scrapper, the mum, the dad, the family, fur family, the artist, the nature lover, and so the list goes on.

Until next time
Happy Scrapping
