Remember when - Karen McLaughlin

Hi - Karen back with you today showing you a page using a landscape photo rather than a person photo - something I don't usually do.  This was taken at sunset at Forster where we spent a great weekend with friends.  I just love this Abstactus Large Shape.  How different is it?  I used micro beads on and around it plus some glitter and enamel dots.  For my title I used the Remember when which I painted in silver and added some kindyglitz.  My last piece of A2Z I used was the Barb Wire Coils which come in a set of 3.  Thank you for looking and I hope you have a great week ahead.

London by Judith Armstrong

Good morning scrappers, I'm finishing off the month with a double layout showcasing our trip to London a few years ago.

I decided to use black and white photos so that the red, white and blue would stand out.
Here's a closer look at the individual pages.

I used the A2Z Scraplets London title. I painted it white and then used textas to draw in the Union Jack on the taxi.

Thanks for looking

Judith xx

"Love You" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

I'd like to share a new layout "Love You" featuring DH & I.

I've used the
Love You chipboard
and the
Doily frame large.

The doily frame has been given a coat of white gesso and then coloured with the Tim Holtz Distress Crayons - I decided not to cover it with embossing powder and leave it "Raw".

The Love You has been treated with Colour Blast "Sunshine" embossing powder x 2 but probably should have had a coat of gesso first as it's not very "yellow".

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Dad

Hi Guys
My turn on the blog again. Today I'm sharing a layout of my Dad and I.
Yesterday my Dad would have been 90 years old so I thought it fitting to scrap
a photo of him for this special occasion.
The chipboard has only been painted with grey paint, I thought with the gorgeous font of the
word Dad it needed to be kept simple.

Have a wonderful week. Tanya x

Happiness starts here - Karen McLaughlin

Karen back this morning to show you a page using lots of gorgeous A2Z Scraplets Chipboard.  I am just loving the Swirl Texture set of 3 shapes of which I have used 2 on this page.  I have also used one of the Dingle Dangles which also come in a set of 3.  I have decorated the dingle dangle with liquid pearls and kindy glitz.  My last piece of chipboard is the wordlet - happiness starts here which I have painted and used glossy accents.  Thank you for taking the time to look at my page.

Halls Gap Zoo by Judith Armstrong

Good morning scrappers and welcome to another weekend share. I have another in my series of Zoo layouts. This one is Halls Gap Zoo in the Grampians in Victoria. My daughter and I were lucky enough to feed the meerkats there.

I have used the new A2Z Scraplets Halls Gap Zoo title, which I have inked.

I have also used the A2Z Scraplets Diamond Distressed stencil and some texture paste on my background.

A2Z Scraplets has lots of different zoo titles, so why don't you dust off some of your zoo photos and get scrapping!

PS Halls Gap Zoo is well worth a visit

Thanks for looking

GRADUATION

Hello Mary here to share my layout using the "Graduation" chipboard piece . Honestly A2Z Scraplets has a chipboard for every occasion !

My Granddaughter graduated from school last year, so I wanted to document the milestone and the chipboard piece worked perfectly for a bold , stunning title.
I kept my layout quite simple with clean lines.

I primed the chipboard with gesso and then painted it with a Black Perlen Pen, which gives a lovely gloss finish,

Thank You for calling by and I encourage you to pop over to the Shop for your chipboard to document a special event , travel page or every day moments . Also we would love to see you join us in our Sketch Challenge this month.

You can upload your entries to our facebook page.
Happy Creating
Mary x
