"Zoom" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

I'm sharing a new layout titled "Zoom"

I started this layout with the
which I've treated with a coat of gesso followed by gold acrylic paint.
I also mounted it on the patterned paper to help it lift off the page!

Papers and elements on this page are from Kitaholic Kit Club and include the patterned papers, flair, thickers and embellishments.

I started this page by creating as I normally would - patterned background paper with layers.
I decided it was looking a little bit like everything else I create so tilted it on an angle - trimmed the background, mounted on white card and added some machine stitching.

I just love how this one turned out. So simple and easy but really different!

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

(heart) this family

Hey there. Tanya here to share a double page layout with you.

I have used the Stone Wall Chipboard Pieces as part of my embellishment
cluster on both pages and the title is (heart) this family

I have kept all my chipboard pieces natural with only a tiny bit of distress ink added to the edges.
The heart of the title piece has been covered in gesso and then while still wet I added some fine
white glitter to it.

Decorated box by Judith Armstrong

Good morning A2Z fans. Judith here to share with you something a little different from me. I decided to decorate a box using A2Z Scraplet chipboard and stencils.

I started with a plain brown papier mache box. I undercoated it with gesso and then painted it with pink acrylic paint.  I added some hearts to the sides of the box using the A2Z Scraplets Heart in Hearts stencil and some coloured texture paste. I decided the hearts looked a little to bright so dry brushed some more gesso over them and the pink paint. I also added some pink velvet ribbon to the edge of the lid.

The A2Z Scraplets Heart of Hearts Shape just fit perfectly on the heart shaped doily which I adhered to the lid of the box. I stenciled a couple of hearts through the stencil onto hearts on the chipboard.

Then I set about embellishing the top with lots of flowers, some beads, butterflies and a sentiment.

Thanks for looking

Judith xx

Treasure

Good Morning Scraplets

In this layout I have used several different pieces of chipboard.
The Rose Blooms Shape has been covered with gesso sponged on then painted,
while the pink paint was wet I sprinkled on blush coloured micro beads. The
Treasure chipboard has been painted with pink paint and covered with Crackle
Accent. The Circle is from the Circles Nested Set and has been painted white
and I have wrapped some parts with embossing cotton to match the hand
stitching around my layout.

Cheers - Tanya x

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Good Morning Mary here today to share my layout using the A2Z Scraplets chipboard

I decided to create a little water scene from one of my Fiji Photos. I have used the engraved Anchor and also pieces from the Sea Creatures 1 Set  . As always I have primed my pieces with gesso to start, as so the colours do not soak into the chipboard.  I then coloured the pieces with water paints , watercolour pencils  and also metallic rubs on my Anchor

You can find any possible chipboard piece you could need at A2Z Scraplets store
