I adore this chipboard - it's just perfect for my scrapping style.
You'll find the chippie in the A2Z Scraplets store here.
For the chipboard - I've added white gesso then coloured with the Distress Crayons - sealing it with clear embossing powder.
I coordinated the colours with the fabulous "You Rock" collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.
Tanya here again to share another layout that I have done using an old family
photo from my wedding. Sadly my dad and two of his brothers are no longer with us,
which makes it even more important to scrapbook our old photos.
The above chipboard is Birds On A Line. They come in a set of 2. There are 6 birds on each row. I cut mine down to 4 birds and I have coloured them with Art Alchemy wax colour and then embossed them using my cuttlebug machine and a embossing folder to give them some texture.
Ive used bits and pieces from my stash and the circles are bits left over from interlocking ring frame.i embossed them in bright pink and the title snapchat buddies I used 2 different embossing powders to achieve the look.
Hi A2Z Fans. Karen with you today to show you a very flowery page. I have used as the title Be Happy which comes in a pack of 3 words. I painted them black and then covered with glossy accents. The other piece of chipboard I used was this lovely corner piece. Thank you for looking.
Good morning and welcome to the weekend. Not long now until Christmas. I am getting through some more of my wedding photos from nearly 25 years ago!
I have used the A2Z Scraplets title - Father and Daughter Scripty Word. I have used Bo Bunny Gold Pearlescents to cover it. This is a bit like a thinnish texture paste in a pen. It gives a two tone colour where there are thicker parts.
Good Morning , Mary here . Today will be my last post as a DT member for A2Z Scraplets. I have loved working with the beautiful chipboard and being part of the team. I am very grateful for the opportunity .
Today I have created a layout with the "Summers Here" chipboard piece and nothing meant more than Summer is Here when my children were little than the annual holiday with the country cousins to visit Granddad. It meant swimming in the pool , going to the beach, waiting for the tune of Mr Whippy and the bell of the baker van.
To treat the chipboard I painted first with gesso and then I painted the piece with watered down Distress Oxide in Peacock feathers, once it was try I then dapped over the piece in places with the Peacock Feathers undiluted.
Thank You for calling by, don't forget to visit the shop for all your chipboard needs and we would love to see your entries in the current challenge which is Recycle , Reuse, Repurpose. I have used a netting and muslin on my layout .
You can find and dowload your entries on our facebook page.
Finally a Big Congrats to the new DT Members that will create beautiful Inspiration for you.
Tanya here to share with you my layout example for our last challenge for the year.
Hopefully you can find the time in this silly and busy time to join in our challenge.
Reuse, repurpose or recycle is the criteria for this months challenge.
I have used cardboard from an old box that I have inked and I have also cut up and
added a piece from an old hession bag that we no longer used as it had marks on it.
The Love These Memories chipboard word has been embossed with embossing powder. The circle chipboard around my photo is called Picture Frame 16, I have lightly inked it with distress ink but inked more heavily on the outside flourish part.
Hello scrappers , well December already, where did the year go ! But a new month brings a new challenge to get us motivated to get our memories down.
This months challenge is to
A fab challenge
Believe in the Magic of the Season
I have used pieces of a old doily that I had ripped up, old thread , strips of tissue paper and I have matted my photo on product packaging that was too nice to throw away.
I have used one of the new flourishes in the shop . I simply painted it with gesso to keep the white wash look and it is a little hard to see in the photo , but I also went over the piece with a Winks of Stella brush ,which gives it a subtle sparkle.
To add texture to my page I added snowflakes with the stencil from the shop. Before the texture paste had dried I sprinkled the snowflakes with glitter .
I hope you join us in this months challenge, we would love to see how you use recycled , repurpose items on your project.
You can find the challenge and upload your entries on our facebook page
Hi A2Z Fans - Karen with you today to show you my example for this month's challenge. All you need to do for this month is to use at least 2 items of reuse, repurpose or recycle items on your page and of course some chipboard. I have used the packaging from some paper flowers on the left of my photo. I have also used the ribbon which I cut out of my tops to hang garments on hangars. I have used lots of lovely A2Z chipboard. The first one is the flourish at the bottom of the page which I have just painted. The second piece is this lovely Corner and Butterfly frame which I have painted and added kindyglitz. I have also decorated one of the lovely fancy butterflies which come in a pack of 3. I hope you are able to join in on this great challenge this month.
Good morning and welcome to my take on the last challenge for the year. This months challenge is to use at least 2 items that have either been reused, repurposed or recycled on your project. Further details can be found on our Facebook page here.
Here is my take:
The two items I have used are some some gold ribbon that was originally used to tie up a bouquet of flowers and pieces of a string bag that with mandarins came in.
I loved the A2Z Scraplet title Small but fierce and knew I had the perfect lion cub photo for it. I painted the title gold and then added some gold kinderglitz over the top to give it a sparkly look.
