Here Comes Trouble

Time to share another layout with you. I'd like to
introduce Eric to those of you that haven't met the new
addition to our family; our cute, sweet little trouble
maker Australian Cattle Dog.

This Here Comes Trouble!! chipboard piece has been embossed with Stampendous Shabby Blue Embossing Enamel and I have outlined the edge of the wording with a Stabilo pencil. This type of pencil is great as what you draw can smudged.

Using A2Z Scraplets chipboard on PL

Hello Mary here to share with you today.
For this project I used A2Z Scraplet chipboard in documenting some of my travel photos with PL

I have used the piece as the title to my page to document my photos taken at Krakow. To treat the chipboard firstly I embossed the piece and then added two different colours of Crackle paint. You can find this chipboard here  or simply look under Words Destinations / travel in the A2Z Shop for your travel title

the page completed

Next I used one of the birds from a 2 piece set , which I simply embossed . Out of all my travel photos I have never shared any photos I took at Auschwitz and finally decided to do a PL format would be the best way to go. Besides this page I prob never will share the others, but now I have at least documented this part of my trip for me.

So I hope I have encouraged you to think of using your Chipboard pieces in PL as well as layouts. The uses are endless , only restricted by your imagination.
Don't forget we would love you to join in our challenge this month as well and upload your take on our facebook page here
Happy Creating
Mary x

Lets Party by Judith Armstrong

Welcome to the weekend A2Z fans. Today I have a party layout to share with you.
I found it really hard to choose the colours to go with these photos of my daughter's 18th birthday party but settled on some salmon and pale pastel colours to match the skin tones and one or two colours in each photo.

I used the A2Z Scraplets Let's Party word for my title. I covered it with a chalk ink, which gives great coverage on chipboard.

Thanks for looking

HI everyone.
Donna here with this share of my daughter and her boyfriend.
I have used the large Roman Clockface piece and coloured it with a
golden Inka gold. This piece now available in the store.

I have kept my embellishments quite neutral and golden

I added a few little die cuts and a stenciled and sponged background and, wal-ah - all done!

"Shine Bright" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

My layout "Shine Bright"

I just adore this collection from Simple Stories.
I decided to team it in a simple paper based layout with the
Spotty Circles Set

Firstly I've given the chipboard a coat of black gesso.
Then with gel medium and a fine paint brush, I've painted the circles and sprinkled glitter over the top.
To finish, I've given the whole chipboard a coat of spray gloss sealer so that the glitter will hold.

I would normally use white cardstock background, so to challenge my creativity, I started with black cardstock and added some splatters in Colour Blast Shimmer Spray "Bling".

For something else a little interesting, before I attached the white & pink striped paper, I stitched it with black cotton. Then the outside of the black cardstock with white cotton. Giving a lovely two tone effect.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Hello there, Tanya here with another layout for you.
Today I'm sharing a layout I did of my daughter on her recent holiday.
When I knew she was going to Rome and visiting the Colosseum I ordered this
wonderful Colosseum Shape chipboard straight away as I knew it would be perfect
for a layout. I have pretty much left it natural with the exception of a little bit of ink
blended around the edges.

I have added two travel type words to my layout as well. They are a pack of 4 chipboard travel words  called Amazing Scenery Explore Travel. The words have been painted and then I have added some brown ink to tone down the colour so it blended in with the layout more.

Have a wonderful week. Cheers Tanya x

October A2Z Scraplets Papercraft Challenge Sample - Chameleon @ Taronga Zoo by Judith Armstrong

Good morning A2Z fans, today I am sharing my take on the October  A2Z Scraplets Papercraft challenge.  The challenge this month is to use the palette below to create a project

And here is my take on it.

I created my background by using a stencil and a number of different colour ink pads. I decided I liked the look so used the same woodgrain stencil on my title. I used the A2Z Scraplets Taronga Zoo word for my title. I inked it with green ink and then stenciled over the top with a teal chalk ink.

I also used the twirly border from A2Z Scraplets Border Strip 09. I began by painting it with acrylic paint. Then I wanted to create a surface that resembled the bobbly skin of the chameleon. So I glued different sized pearls and a little bit of bling on top.

Here's another view from the side.

I hope this has inspired you with a couple of different ways of decorating your chipboard. We would love to see you enter our challenge. All details can be found on the Facebook page here.
You could win an awesome prize.
