Adorable by Anne

Hello, Anne here
with a layout using the A2Z Scraplet Adorable 2 word and Chicken Wire Shape.

The A2Z Scraplet chicken wire shape was cut, then painted in acrylic paint. The Adorable word was coated in gilding flakes. This is a simple way of getting a great multi colored metallic look to the chipboard.

The background was stenciled and stamped before arranging the A2Z Scraplets on the page.  Half pearls, butterflies and Coco Vanilla embellishments were added to complete the page.

 Cheers!

Australia day by Anne

Hello it's
Anne (AKA Gorge Iss) here,
I have a layout completed from Australia Day this year using A2Z Scraplet Captured Moment and chicken wire shape.

I cut the chicken wire shape and used Aged silver distress embossing powder on it. The piece was placed behind the photo.

I painted the A2Z Scraplet, "Captured Moment" with acrylic paint and made highlights in white before coating in Glossy Accents.

The layout was made by running acrylic paint over the page. When dry, this page was cut and placed over the background. Corrugated card, flowers, bow, flair, die cuts and enamel dots completed the page.

enjoy. Cheers!

"Create your own dreams" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Sharing a new layout "Create your own dreams"

I used the
and coated it with Colour Blast embossing Powder "Deep Water".

I've also included the Chicken wire frame.
I gave it a coat of gesso and then used Distress Ink "Blueprint Sketch" to roughly add some colour.
I've cut it up and used it in the background.

The background paper was a half started page that ended up in the reject draw.
I added Minc foil to tissue paper and then used gel medium to adhere the tissue paper to the white cardstock.
The background also features Colour Blast paste "Steel" and splatters of Colour Spray "Caribbean"

I have further embellished this page with Kaisercraft stickers and die cuts, a flair from Just Add Flair and snuck a Charms Creations tab in there too.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

"Amazing" Scrapbook layout by Louise for October challenge

Hi Crafters

I'm sharing my take on the October moodboard challenge
"Amazing"

This month's moodboard is a slightly challenging colour palette and really pushed me past my comfort zone.

I decided to raid my stash for papers and embellishments.
I chose a photo of DH on a camping trip.
He hardly smiles for photos so I love this page when I see his happy smile.

I've added a
Chicken Wire Border
treated with gesso and then coloured with Distress Crayons.
I love how it looks with the cotton and the Charms Creations star!

I used the
and covered with Colour Blast embossing powder "Tangareen Dream"

In the background you'll find some Colour Blast paste in "Snow White", some background stamping and some splatters.

This page quickly became one of my favourites - so easy and I really like the mix of patterns and paper tearing.

I look forward to seeing your creations.

A Night To Remember!

Hi there A2Zers! Today I'm sharing a couple of layouts with you. The first one I created with a photo from Halloween!

I used a mixture of papers from the Kaisercraft Shine Bright collection and Close To My Heart Nevermore collection. The border was created with the Martha Stewart around the page spiderweb punch.

I used StazOn Pumpkin ink to colour the A Night To Remember and Chicken Mesh scraplets, then swiped over with StazOn Cotton White ink, and outlined with a white gel pen.

Next up is a layout I created for Australia Day!

I used papers from the Kaisercraft 2 Cool 4 School 12 inch paper pad and some Kaisercraft Epoxy Stickers.

The Australia scraplet was coated in white Derivan Matisse Acrylic Ink, dotted with red Derivan Matisse Acrylic Ink, and then outlined with a blue gel pen.

Thanks for looking, and remember always... Keep calm and craft on!

She is really my sunshine.. when she isn't thunder and lightning... LOL.

As a title I used You are my sunshine A2Z Scraplet word and used gold embossing to make it shine.

Fun At The Park

Hi again! Where does the time go? I can't believe how quickly this year is flying by.

Between work, homeschool, and building a new house, I haven't had as much time in my crafty room as I would normally like, but I did get enough time this week to whip up this simple layout to share with you.

I created this layout with the Fun at the ParkChicken Wire CornerChicken Wire Border and 2 out of the set of 3 Helicopter chippies.

As usual, I've coloured the chippies with felt pens, coated them in Dimensional Magic and outlined with a gold gel pen.

I hope to get a bit more crafty time soon so I have lots more to share with you!
Until next time, keep calm and craft on :)

New products in store now!

New Stock!
We have added some brand new stock to the website. My absolute favourite at the moment is Kaisercraft's Scrap Yard range. The collection packs are a fabulous way to ensure you have all the papers you need for your projects. These include 12 papers and a bonus sticker sheet. Retailing at $12.00 they are great value for money.
Along with the papers you'll also find the Collectables. Each pack includes over 50 die cut shapes to compliment the rest of the range.

The coordinating stamp set is brilliant for many occasions.

A2Z Scraplets have the perfect range of chipboards to use with the range of papers. Choose from cog borders, corners, cog or gear sets, steampunk and chicken wire frames, borders and corners.

These corners are perfect for the industrial look of the paper range.

We also have an extensive range of dies that will work perfectly with this range of papers and embellishments.

One of my favourite finishes for chipboard and also for adding texture to papers, card or other embellishments are embossing powders. Choose from opaques, metallics, multicolor, antiques and textures.

Until next time,
Happy Scrapping

Soar high

Hi there!

Today I'm sharing with you my take on this months challenge.  Just to remind you, this is the current image…

And this is my layout…

I drew on the balloons as my inspiration for my layout titled "sour high"
The A2Z chipboard I have used on this layout is the chicken wire.

The only treatment I gave the chipboard was a generous spritzing with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine in Navy.  It has a wonderful shimmery effect (the photo hasn't done it justice!)

My second share today is focused on some cute photos of my son when he was only 16 months old, splashing around with some water.  My layout is based on a layout I saw on Pinterest…

I had a lot of fun with this layout - splotting paint and painting circles.  I love the effect!!
I have used the A2Z chipboard title "Splash zone" on this layout.

I painted the word zone with white paint and covered it with glossy effects.  For "splash" I painted it with blue acrylic paint, then sploshed it with LSG Bachelor Button Blue with a dauber in a few places, then dripped some Goosebumps Clear texture Spray on it to give the effect of water droplets.  The goosebumps was also dripped on the background as well, though the photos didn't pick it up unfortunately.

Hope you have a wonderful week.
Until next time,
Yvette

Netball, Out and About, We are Family ............

Hi Deb here again, sharing a few pages that I've enjoyed doing.

The first one is my daughter when she started playing netball. Herein lies the beginning of our sports line. I've also used a new Scraplet *This* and the netball title.

The next one was created using the title Out and About as well as the Chicken Wire.

The finish on the Scraplet is Tim Holtz Crackle paint, another product that works exceptionally well on chipboard.

One of the great things about the panels of texture pieces is being able to cut them up easily to add bits here and there to your project.

The last share for today is one of my husband's family. We are Family is a great title for any family page.

I have used Opals for the altered finish on this Scraplet. Utee and the heavy use of embossing powders is a wonderful finish on your chipboard.

Look for these and many more products at your local Scrap Store or Online shop. Check out the link to find a retailer in your area.

Til I see you again, happy scrapping
Deb
