"# Funny" scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today to share a new layout
"#Funny"

I've discovered a new love for monochrome layouts.
I saw this paper and knew I wanted to create a yellow based layout

I created my background with acrylic paint, then added paste through the
Some stamping and ink splatters to finish.

Lots of layers of different papers + the Mimi Doily 13
has a coat of plane gesso and then was coloured and smudged with Tim Holtz Distress Crayon.

Love this one!

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

January sketch challenge scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Louise with you today.

Did you know we have a facebook challenge each month?
You can have the chance to win a awesome prize pack full of chipboard goodies.
This month is a sketch ...

Here's my layout "Mum & Me"

Inspired by the sketch:

I've used the
wrought iron shape
treated with a layer of white embossing powder.

and the
This has been treated with a layer of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Envy"
followed by a second layer of blue glitter embossing powder.

The background is also stamped and embossed with the same blue glitter embossing powder.

"Love" scrapbook layout + chipboard technique by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today.
I've got a layout to share + one of my favourite chipboard techniques.

My page "Love"

For the "Love" chipboard
I've treated it as follows:

Such a fun technique which can easily be applied to a variety of chipboard products.

My layout also includes lots of other textural elements - twine, straws, tags, texture paste all coming together with a green colour theme.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

New products in store now!

New Stock!
We have added some brand new stock to the website. My absolute favourite at the moment is Kaisercraft's Scrap Yard range. The collection packs are a fabulous way to ensure you have all the papers you need for your projects. These include 12 papers and a bonus sticker sheet. Retailing at $12.00 they are great value for money.
Along with the papers you'll also find the Collectables. Each pack includes over 50 die cut shapes to compliment the rest of the range.

The coordinating stamp set is brilliant for many occasions.

A2Z Scraplets have the perfect range of chipboards to use with the range of papers. Choose from cog borders, corners, cog or gear sets, steampunk and chicken wire frames, borders and corners.

These corners are perfect for the industrial look of the paper range.

We also have an extensive range of dies that will work perfectly with this range of papers and embellishments.

One of my favourite finishes for chipboard and also for adding texture to papers, card or other embellishments are embossing powders. Choose from opaques, metallics, multicolor, antiques and textures.

Until next time,
Happy Scrapping

Gotta love holidays!

We're back from holidays and settling back into the usual work routines. While the memories are still fresh I started to do some of the photos that we took. Between three cameras, two phones and two ipods between us, there are a few!

Again, Thailand was a beautiful place for a holiday and the kids enjoyed many new and exciting experiences. No doubt you'll see many pages coming that will share our time there.

This page was a very simple one using Kaisercraft papers, stamps and die cuts plus the addition of some holiday inspired Scraplets. The Elephant Trekking scraplet can be found on our website now.

This next page is an older photo of our son and his 'tatt'. I've used an older range of paper from Basic Grey and some of the newer arrow and tattoo flourish scraplets.

To give it a bit of a rugged look I roughly 'splodged' paint on the arrows and stapled them to the page.

The circle of twine with another arrow attached over it, takes the focus to the main picture.

A close up of the tattoo flourish.

While thinking about holidays, I put a super simple page together for a challenge on using pockets. The photo strip is a long pocket and holds the leaflet and memories of our stay in this little cottage.
