CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS

Hello Mary here to share a layout with you.
I have to say receiving my DT box of goodies from A2Z Scraplets is like Christmas, sooo many gorgeous goodies . I couldn't wait to start creating with them. So with feeling like Christmas I decided to create a layout documenting a family tradition. We each have a Christmas Bauble with our name on it and we have to place it on the tree.

Family Traditions

I have embossed the Christmas Traditions Chipboard and added flecks of Silver embossing powder in with the red (which was a bit of a happy accident really :) )
Then I took one of the stars from the pack of star chipboard I received and embossed it in gold .
It is the time of year we all start to think about Christmas and make Christmas cards and projects and I have to say  A 2 Z Scraplets have a amazing range of Christmas shapes and words to choose from.
I hope I have inspired your to get your Christmas projects started.
Until next time
Happy Creating

Bulldogs Open Training by Judith Armstrong

Hi, Judith here with my last share for the month. My daughter is a big Western Bulldogs fan so when they had an open training session during the school holidays she was eager to go. I just had to create a double page, something I rarely do these days, but I had so many photos.

I used the Bulldogs 2 chipboard title. I used masking tape to mask some of the areas so I could paint a white stripe in the middle, and then a red stripe in the middle of that and blue on the outer edges.

Here is a close up of the finished title.

I also used the A2Z Scraplets Stencil - Arrows 1 and used red texta to draw the arrow heads.

Thanks for looking

Judith

"Mummy's Boys" scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today sharing a new layout.
"Mummy's Boys"

I've used the Mummy's Boys chipboard word
Colour Blast Embossing Powder "Just Blue"
to treat it.

I started this layout with a blue watercolour background.
Added my elements - photo, embellishing and journalling.
Then I used a spatula to roughly spread some Colour Blast colour paste in "Steel" around the page.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Forever In Our Hearts

Its Tuesday again so that means its time for me to show you another
layout I have done using some more wonderful A2Z Scraplets chipboard.

The Forever In Our Hearts Chipboard piece was just perfect as a title
of this photo of my Pa who we all miss dearly.

The other chipboard I have used are Brick Work Pieces. They are a set
of 4 pieces so are great value for money. I have only used 2 pieces on
this layout. Both pieces of chipboard have been embossed using an
Aged Taupe Embossing Powder which is quiet chunky and gives off a
thick gold look in some parts. I like that it is not all perfect and the
gold only shows up on part of the chipboard.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day

Wedding Day - Karen McLaughlin

Hi A2Z Scraplets Fans.  Here is a page I have done of my wedding.  We celebrated 25 years this year.  Wow!  I have used these beautiful flourishes which are under the flower groups. I also used the Wedding Day wordlet.  For these chipboard pieces I painted the chipboard with gesso then white paint and then some kindyglitz to give them a bit of a sparkle.  Hope you all have a great week and thank you for looking.

Hanging with the big cats by Judith Armstrong

Another weekend and another A2Z Scraplets page from me, Judith. As soon as I saw this title in the shop I knew I had to get it as it was the perfect title for this photo! Earlier this year we made quite a few visits to Werribee Zoo to see the lion cubs. On this particular Wednesday morning, Johari, their dad, was sitting down next to the window, as there was no one around we took the opportunity to take photos of ourselves sitting next to him. I can assure you there is a thick pane of glass between him and me!

I have covered the Hanging with the big cats title with some blue acrylic paint and then embossed some paw prints in gold onto the CAT word.

I also used a flourish from the flourish 1032 pack, which I cut in half and painted with gold acrylic paint.

I also added a wood veneer tile from the Awesome Oval Veneer set 1

Hope I've given you some inspiration.

Judith xx

LIVE MORE WORRY LESS

Good Morning!
Mary here to share another layout using the wonderful  A 2 Z Scraplets Chipboard and Stencil
Once again I created this layout at our recent girly get away , where Jo set a Mood board Challenge. I used a photo from a recent holiday at the coast and my idea was to use the Circle Texture Piece Shape to create a beach theme.
Live More Worry Less

I simply gessoed the chipboard and then painted blue with acrylic paints to represent water

I  used the Staggered Stencil for texture , so versatile .
Thank You for calling by , until next time , Happy Creating

"Love" scrapbook layout + chipboard technique by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today.
I've got a layout to share + one of my favourite chipboard techniques.

My page "Love"

For the "Love" chipboard
I've treated it as follows:

Such a fun technique which can easily be applied to a variety of chipboard products.

My layout also includes lots of other textural elements - twine, straws, tags, texture paste all coming together with a green colour theme.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.
