"Proud Much" interactive scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Here to share a new scrapbook layout
"Proud Much"

I was lucky enough to head along to the Brisbane Scrapbook expo in June.
I took a class with Jenny Heaslip Scrapbooker
Jenny makes the most wonderful interactive pages.
I decided to go ahead and make one for this layout.

The front page folds back and reveals the journalling and a second photo.

I couldn't resist the Proud Much?!!!! Chipboard

At the Scrapbook expo I also picked up some of the new Colour Blast embossing powders, this one "Sparkling Sands" is just exactly like the name.

Other elements on this page are from the Kaisercraft Stargazer collection.

Thanks for visiting.

"Celebrate" - Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Sharing a happy, fun Scrapbook layout "Celebrate"

Inspiration for this page came from the photo.
It was so bright and fun and I really wanted my layout to feel the same.

I left the Celebrate circle word plane, with just a coat of black gesso.

With so many bright elements, I added some Colour Blast "Singin the Blues" paste

My paste got a little messy and I ended up with quite a bit extra on my white background - I covered this up by adding some blue splatters.

I've embellished the page quite lightly with some wood pieces, stickers and a flair.

Thanks for visiting.

"Pensive Moment" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

I'd like to share a new layout "Pensive Moment"

This page started with the background paper.
It's from the Project Life "Azure" 12x12 collection.
I trimmed out some areas of it and highlighted the background using washi tape and
Colour Blast Spray in Saffron.
I've applied the spray to a stencil, over the craft mat, then flipped the stencil and pressed the pattern onto the white cardstock background - I love this effect.

This Pensive Moment Chipboard is such a great fit for the photo.
I've covered it with white gesso, then coloured with Distress Crayon and then finally - lightly sprayed with Colour Blast Spray "Indigo".

With such a busy background, I didn't need to add too many embellishments, so I chose some simple stamping, cotton thread and a wood veneer.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Hanging with the big cats by Judith Armstrong

Another weekend and another A2Z Scraplets page from me, Judith. As soon as I saw this title in the shop I knew I had to get it as it was the perfect title for this photo! Earlier this year we made quite a few visits to Werribee Zoo to see the lion cubs. On this particular Wednesday morning, Johari, their dad, was sitting down next to the window, as there was no one around we took the opportunity to take photos of ourselves sitting next to him. I can assure you there is a thick pane of glass between him and me!

I have covered the Hanging with the big cats title with some blue acrylic paint and then embossed some paw prints in gold onto the CAT word.

I also used a flourish from the flourish 1032 pack, which I cut in half and painted with gold acrylic paint.

I also added a wood veneer tile from the Awesome Oval Veneer set 1.

Hope I've given you some inspiration.

Judith xx
