Happy Baby by Brenda Caldow

Hello crafty friends and welcome to A2Z Scraplets, Brenda here with you today to share my latest page using two awesome chippies. The photo is of my youngest son Harley who is no longer this sweet little bub but 14yrs/old. Oh how they grow.
So on with the page -

For both the chippies I have used the same method. For the title I first used Prima Art alchemy and painted it on.

I then dabbed white Dylusions Paint over the top. Once this was dry the chippie was finished. Easy but effective.

For the hanging hearts I did the hearts in the same method as the title. For the flourish part I started by first colouring it with a dark green Distress Marker (2 coats).

Once I had done that I then dabbed some light green Dylusions over it, allowed to dry and then over the whole of the hanging hearts I dabbed the white Dylusions Paint.

Thanks you for dropping into A2Z Scraplets and I hope I have inspired you with my page just a little and that you like how I have done my chippies. Please keep scrolling down to see some other wonderful creations from the Design Team.
Also there is still plenty of time to join in with our latest challenge over on the A2Z Scraplets Facebook page. We would love to see your creations and you never know you might be this months lucky winner.

My faithful walking companion

Hello Everyone. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Today I am sharing a layout featuring a beautiful double heart chippie from A2Z Scraplets.

A fitting layout for "Steptember". I now try to walk 10,000 steps a day and Dexter is my faithful walking companion. He loves his walks, and his enthusiasm makes our walks more enjoyable.

I just love these scribble hearts. A lovely large size but still very delicate. In the A2Z Scraplets shop (click on the tab at the top of the page) there is a fantastic range of heart chippies; in SHAPES - Hearts and Stars.

On top of my usual mixed media background I have used "Kylies swirl border"; found in - BORDERS.

Don't forget to pop over to our challenge Facebook page to check out our challenge for September - it's all about the men in our lives. We would love to see your creations.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting!

All you need by Anne

with a new Friday layout.

The A2Z Scraplet All you need is Love is engraved so needed highlighting in white to get the words to stand out.

I made this layout by first applying gelatos, then stamping in black.

Die cuts, resin diamond shapes and the photo added alongside the A2Z Scraplet completed the layout!

Cheers!

"Cheeky" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

How bout a really, really "boy" layout - "Cheeky"

The inspiration for this page came from the pop of green in the photo.
Master C loves green so I wanted to make this a page with a strong green focus.

This collection is from Jillibean Soup - 2 Cool 4 School.
I decided to pair it with some of the Nested Circles
Each given a different colour of Distress Crayon.

I've also used the "Cheeky" word and covered it with Colour Blast Embossing Powder.

I haven't added too much mixed media but I did add some Nuvo glitter paste to the background through a star stencil!

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Too Darn Cute

Hello.........

I had so many layouts that I could have used this title on, and I'm sure you could too.

The chipboard Too Darn Cute has been painted with black paint and then I've drawn lines on top
with a white pen.

Extra Special by Brenda Caldow

Welcome to A2Z Scraplets, Brenda here with you today to share my latest page using two great chippies. My page is old my two sons Riley and Harley and they are so young. One being 14 and the other just turned 16 and when I looked at this photo I wondered how they had grown so fast.

I have used paint pens to do my title. The first was a plain yellow and the second over the top was a yellow with a glitter in it. I then put some of an orange on my craft mat, dabbed a makeup sponge on it and then dabbed it here and there over the words.
A simple but effective method.

For the star flourishes I used the same method as the title but this time I didn't as you can see use any sponging. I used the two yellows on the star and the orange paint pen on the swirls.

I hope you have enjoyed popping in today and that my page has been able to inspire you in some way. Don't forget we have our challenge over on the Facebook page and this month it is all about the Fathers/Males in our lives. Please hop on over and join in with us as we would love to see your take on the challenge. Also keep scrolling through the blog as there is loads more inspiration from the Design Team.

Be YOU tiful - Karen McLaughlin

Hi Karen here with a page using a circle of sun cluster shapes and I then added  some small cogs inside the sun clusters.  After painting them all black I then added some crackle accents and some orange liquid pearls to fill in the centres.  I also used this great title BeYOUtiful which I painted black and then added glossy accents.  Thanks for looking and I hope you have a great week.
