Hi everyone!
Amy Prior back again today to share some more fabulous inspiration using the awesome November new releases from A2Z Scraplets. Have you checked out the
NEW SCRAPLETS section of our website yet?
Click here to check it out and MAN there are some awesome new designs that I definately MUST get my hands on ASAP. Ok no more caps lol.
The background stencilling was created using Modelling Paste with the stencilet and then doodling around the edges with a thick black marker. For the chipboard circle word, I have added various shades of Liquid Pearls and using a pin, I have marbled the colours together.
For the background masking, I have used Viva Decor Inka Gold Wax Rub in Old Gold colour in various spots over the layout background. I have also wet and rolled up the bottom of the paper to form layers drapes that look like curtains sorta kinda not really LOL. The Lamp Post Chipboard was given a rough coat of crackle paint followed by some Viva Decor Inka Gold in Old Silver and Old Gold to add nice details and worn texture to the chipboard.
My next layout is titled Fave Pics & Nanna & Poppie's House and was created using the gorgeous new
A2Z Scraplets Chipboard Love Polaroid Frame as well as the new
A2Z Scraplets Stencilet. On both the chipboard and the background masking I have used Modelling Paste/Texture Paste and then allowed to dry before rubbing over the texture with some Viva Decor Inka Gold wax rub.
I have decorated the fairy by adding blobs of Ranger Liquid Pearls all over and creating a marbled effect using a pin. I have used White Opal, Bisque & Platinum for the body and then Petal Pink, Baby Blue & Rose Pink for the wings. Here is a closeup picture of the fabulous marbled pattern so cute.
To decorate these chipboard flags, I have given them a light coating of Gesso to prime the surface and help my colours pop when applied and I have then added some Gelatos colour gradually from the top to create an Ombre effect. Finally I have doodled with a black pen over the words so they really pop off the page more.
My next layout to share is titled Lovin Summer and was created using the gorgeous new
A2Z Scraplets Lovin Summer Chipboard Title. I have painted the chipboard title with Luminarte Silks Blue Paint and I have then stamped a bubble wrap stamp over the dried paint using some Cobalt Blue Inka Gold Wax Rub by Viva Decor. I then added some Glossy Accents to the entire title to help it shine and look more 3Dimensional.
My last layout that I have to share with you all today is titled My Dad Love Flat Pack Furniture and features the new
A2Z Scraplets Chipboard My Dad Title. I really wanted to use this title in a way that was different and these photos of my husband frustratingly putting together yet another flat pack toy/furniture item were just waiting to be scrapped for my own humour really LOL. I have also masked my background using the
A2Z Scraplets Pebblestones Stencilet with some Texture Paste before splattering random colours on the background.
To decorate the chipboard title I have adding a thick coating of Texture Paste and then I have stamped into the texture paste while it was wet to leave a bumpy lumpy texture. When this was dried I have painted the top of the letters with some Hot Pink Luminarte Silk Paints and I have added some Black Inka Gold over the MY oval and inserted some Yellow paper behind the negative to help it pop.
Well phew! That is it from me today, aren't you just loving all these amazing new releases? I am so loving all these new designs and I just know that you will love them too! Don't forget that A2Z Scraplets now sells retail as well as wholesale so go on and order today.
