Sweetness and fun.

Hi, its Kerry again back with a couple of shares today. This first layout Sweetness, i have used my favouite technique using scraplets....white ink and crackle paint. When dry smudge a bit of brown ink over. It is my most used method, though am about out of crackle paint...the bird in the tree is soooo gorgeous.

This next layout i done last night and is based on the scrapfriends sketch of the month.

I have used the scalloped border, painted it and done a bit of doodling...

Different Background

Hi Belinda here to show you how to make a background using an A2Z Scraplet Stencil and gelatos. I did this layout for a challenge last month (Flourish With A Bling)

For the background I got a plain cardstock, gessoed it and with the Brick Stencil and Vera Mark Watermark Stamp, I roughly stamped over the stencil. I moved the stencil all over the page.
I then put clear embossing powder over it, shake off the extra and using a heat gun set it
With the gelatos I put the blue around the edge and yellow in the middle. I added water to it and blended the colours in making the yellow green

The leaves here are from A2Z Scraplets, I cut them up to put on either side of the photo. I used Gelatos to colour them in

Hello Again...

Well the first week of holidays has been and went...now for the second half. I have been working every day of them...maybe I will need a holiday after the kids go back to school...LOL.

Todays share is a "Just because layout" of my eldest daughter Kayley. She takes the most deep in thought photo's of all my 3 girls.

I have just inked to make it stand out, so that the materials and pattern paper show through.

October sketch Challenge

Hi everyone!

Caz here today with a fabulous new challenge for you all and of course the chance to win some fabulous A2Z Scraplets Chipboard. To enter, simply create a new layout for the challenge as outlined below, blog or share your entry on an online gallery somewhere and then link back using the linky tool in the side toolbar, if you do not have a blog and cannot upload to the internet just send your entry via email to blog@a2zscraplets.com.au

I have chosen a lovely sketch from Page maps. I hope you like it and it inspires you to enter. So without further ado here is the sketch.

 

The rules are simple. Be as creative as you like but the sketch must be recognisable within your creation. Entries must be received by A2z scraplets by October 31 at midnight. I cannot wait to see the entries.
