Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here again and this time with a dark and grungy card.
I made this stamped collage over this card, but the most interesting part are my heat embossed with 2 colors A2Z Scraplets chipboards.
The upper piece was inked with brown die ink and then I used a bit (just a bit) of clear embossing ink and a bit of gold embossing powder. The lower piece was misted with red mist, then covered partly with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with the same gold powder. The look is rich and dark and grungy and fit's the stamped collage a lot.
I hope I inspired you a bit this week and see you next time with more A2Z chipboards!
Love
Irit

Let's Dance
Hi there crafty people
Sam here with you today sharing a LO that I have created of my daughter on her first day of TAP lessons.
I love how this cluster of flowers turned out
I love the way the chipboard sparkles.
This is just done by adding some glossy accents to the raw chipboard and then covering it in glitter. I actually did 2 layers on this chipboard just to make sure that it had a really good cover on it. I also did it with 2 different colours just by simply doing the pink first, letting it dry and then doing the white on the dancers after the wording was completely dry. The good thing about glossy accents is the thin nozzle that allows for the finer details.
This is definitely my favourite thing to do with my chipboard. I LOVE sparkly chipboard and I think it just adds so much to the LO.
I actually love this part of the LO. I cut around the butterfly that was part of the background card, then I lifted the wings & placed a contrasting paper on the back of the LO so that it showed through under the wings. I just love the little bit of dimension and extra interest that it adds.
Thanks for viewing & I hope you have enjoyed my share.
Don't forget about our monthly challenge.............. have you got your entry in yet? There is still time :)
Have a great day
Sam

Life treasures with chipboards
Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and this time I want to share my " in memory of" lo I made in memory of my dear Dad who passed away last year.
He was a well known Israeli composer and I used this black and white photo strip with the moments of his work for this almost monochromatic page with the add ons of fantastic A2Z Scraplets.
Both pieces were black heat embossed and were so perfect for this page.
See you next time with more colorful inspiration!

Introducing Guest Design Team Member ...
Michelle Hodges
I live in South Texas. My husband and I have an eight year old daughter. I’m a SAHM and I help with various
volunteer work at our daughters school. When I’m not scrapping I
enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, Church activities, and
traveling.
My scrapbooking style is shabby-chic, artsy, simple with
clean lines and some vintage. My style changes depending on what products
I’m using and the kind of project I’m working on. I feel I’m very
versatile when I scrap because I enjoy creating, trying new techniques, and
using new products with keeping up with the latest trends!
I love to add stamping, embossing, misting, gesso,
modeling paste, and adding paint to my projects. When I’m not creating
LO’s, tags, and cards, I love to alter items, create Mixed Media projects, and
I love to use my Cuttlebug.
I’m currently on 2 Manufacturer Design Teams: Creative
Inspirations Paints and The Robin’s Nest.
Thank you A2Z Scraplets for having me as your Guest Designer!
I’m honored and thrilled to be able to work with your amazing products and create along side with your amazing DT team!
Looking forward to seeing your work Michelle !!

Story Bridge Climb Layout
If you have a special title for a specific layout, then Julie is the person to design one for you. My husband was given The Story Bridge Adventure Climb for his 60th birthday by our youngest son ( right in pic) so I requested this title.....I was delighted when this special request scraplet arrived in the mail and was very keen to use it! No cameras are allowed on the climb but they purchased the set of 3 photos for me to scrapbook- it was the sunset climb and the view of the Brisbane city lights was spectacular!

Special Memories to Cherish
A photo that is very special to me as it was taken when I visited my family in South Africa in 2005 and was sadly the last time I saw my mum as she passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly a year later. I decided to do a Remembrance album as a tribute to her and to celebrate her life's journey; a sweet reminder of how much we love and miss her. My scrapbook is a treasure chest of memories that I so enjoy looking through.
Enjoy scrapbooking your special memories!

Corner Word - Just Married
Oh such sweet memories of our wedding day 30 years ago! I used the beautiful Kaisercraft After Five collection which is so elegant and most suitable for scrapbooking this special occasion. Added a pearl flourish, pretty flowers and leaves, heart brads, glitter for sparkle, some gorgeous lace and the awesome JUST MARRIED corner word from a2z! Here are the scraplets I used.......
Two hearts form this theme set......
Here is another layout to share with you using a corner word. There are some awesome corner words suitable for your TRAVEL layouts at a2z. The great part about corner words is that you can use the smaller words elsewhere on your layout as I did here with 'fun' and 'explore'.
Thanks for viewing!

Theme set: Blossoming Beauty and Summer challenge too
Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here again and this time with my new summer scrapbooking page made with this A2Z Scraplets most gorgeous theme set. As this month we have Summer challenge on A2Z BLOG- this is my summer inspiration to you.
It was just so easy to make this page: cover the chipboard frame with a lot of paints and embossing powders. Paint the flowers and glaze them, arrange over the frame as some of them are separate and find a nice paper to back the frame. So easy and so much fun!
You just need our A2Z THEME SETS!
They are so gorgeous and so easy to scrap with!
See you next time with more inspiration!

Daddy's Boys Layout
Here is a layout I did over the weekend to share with you. I used an a2z title, banner and cog shapes and Basic Grey Periphery collection. A sweet trip down memory lane- my sons' favourite place to sleep was on their dad's lap! I cherish those memories and take pleasure in scrapbooking them!
Thanks for viewing,

Mini Album
Hello
Today I want to share with you a very quick and easy project I put together for a birthday present on the weekend.
We were invited to a 2nd birthday party and the invitation said 'Please no presents'. But it hardly feels right turning up empty handed to a kids birthday party. So at about 8pm I decided a mini album could be good, so the parents could put in some favourite pics from the day and perhaps pass on the album once little Mr 2 is old enough to appreciate it.
And let me tell you, it is a good thing this was a quick and easy project to do since my own little miss 3 months decided sleeping was unneccessary that night so I got about an hour and a half to work on the album and that was actually all I needed.
The album is a Kaisercraft wood album, so pretty much use the pages as templates to cut out your patterned paper, stick it on and embellish as you please. In this case, my embellishments were a combination of Scraplets (of course), American crafts thickers and some collectables die cuts from Kaisercraft. The collection is the Kaisercraft Save the date range, which is designed for parties.

Bee Happy with A2Z Scraplets
Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here again and this time with my stamped Mixed Media piece made with A2Z Scraplets most gorgeous chipboards.
I call it Bee Happy, also there is no title on this art piece, but you cab see all those bees around and those happy spring colors and you fell the happiness.
I made this piece using the round frame and a piece of Honeycomb chipboard and they are covered with embossing powders and even stamped with some dots over the top. The inside part is my stamped art piece using Visible Image stamps and more embossing powders and it all about Spring (here it is Spring already)
Hope I gave you some inspiration to use A2Z Scraplets for album covers too. Try it! It's a lot of fun!
See you next time with more chipboard inspiration!
Love

My take on the SUMMER theme challenge
Yay the weekend is nearly here and that means more scrapping time (in between voting here in Western Australia). After a week of trying to get this layout finished for the challenge ITS FINISHED!!!! Yay me lol.
Now remembering that the March Challenge is the theme: SUMMER and it can be either/both a summer photo and colours......... well here is my layout
As you can see the layout IS about summer with a beach theme and photo but it turned out....vintage??? Well not bright and summer colours. But hey, you gotta go with the flow.
Now for some close ups:
Isn't that fence just AWESOME!!! I used some new Tim Holtzs paint distress stain, distress ink stain on top of that THEN I sprayed a little glimmer mist. The crab I used Viva inka-gold, Lava red. All you do is rub it on. Its a bit like shoe polish.
Did not know at first if this was the right title for the style of layout. But with a bit of paint and mixing colours it fitted perfect.
The chipboard I used was:
Well I hope this inspires you to join the challenge, would love to see your take on it. It ends at the end of the month at midnight, you don't need to use A2Z Scraplets but of course would love to see you use them if you have them.
Thanks for looking
