Days Gone By by Brenda Caldow

Hello and welcome to A2Z, Brenda here with you today to share my latest page.
I have used two great chippies on my page and I will show you how I have created one of them and my title I chose to leave natural as I felt it fitted in great as it was.

Doing this scraplet is nice messy fun, well if you don't mind getting your hands dirty that is.
To start off you use modeling paste. I chose it instead of texture paste for this only because I feel it give a better result once heated. You apply it straight from the tub with your finger dabbing it on to give the effect in the picture below.

Once you have done this it's time to heat it with your heat gun but be careful not to burn it.

This is the result after heating, a really great texture.

Next I sprayed the leafy section but don't worry if some goes onto the flower heads. I'm not one to wait for things to dry so you can use your heat gun to dry the sprays.

Next I sprayed the flower heads.

Now it is time for the finishing off. I used Inka Gold rubs and again my finger and rubbed over the different sections with the desired colours I wanted.

Once this was done my chippie is finished and placed aside until I was ready to put my page together.

As I said earlier I chose to leave this chippie in it's natural form.

Now it's time for some close ups of the finished page.

Thank so much for stopping in at A2Z Scraplets today and I hope you have enjoyed seeing my page and how I created it. There are so many more creations to see by the Design Team so keep scrolling for more inspiration.
