Another new month!!

Hi there, Yvette with you today!  November already - where are the months going??  Today I'm sharing 2 layouts I have created for A2Z Scraplets with you.  Both summer related…appropriate considering the heat we've been experiencing these past few weeks in Brisbane!

My first layout is a fresh, colourful one featuring my lovely daughter.  I've used the "Live Laugh Love" chipboard as my title.

I embossed each word with Stampendous Shabby Blue embossing enamel.  I absolutely love this stuff! Chunks of white, gold and then loads of fine blue glitter - so pretty and very easy and quick to do!

Something different for me for my second layout.  I have been "dabbling" for a while now with project life style layouts.  I have done a few, but not for sharing.  So …. here it is, hope you like it!

Here I used the "heart circle" and a "camera journal".  

"Best time ever" from a set of 6 hashtag words.

And "life is pretty amazing"

"awesome"

and the camera circle tab from the same set as the heart circle.

I kept it very simple with all the chipboard on this layout and coated everything with Chipped Sapphire distress paint.  Of course I added some bling to a few bits with Kindyglitz.  That's it - quick & easy.

Could you be any cuter?

Hi Deb here with you today. Life has been crazy busy and my mojo has taken a bit of a battering. What do you do to get it going again? I revert back to doing some clean and simple pages and that will usually ignite the spark. It's no fun sitting there with some time to scrap and nothing is working. 

This week I looked back at where things were a year ago and found these photos to do. The first is Miss Molly or Satan's Daughter as she is often called. Who would have thought this cute little bundle would turn into the most stubborn but still lovable feline.

I dug out some older papers and bits and bobs plus some of the newer enamel dots that are about. How cute and quick are they?!

 I used the 'Could you be any cuter' chipboard from A2Z Scraplets and painted it roughly with some pretty pink pearl paint. Say that quickly! This gave it a bit of texture for a bit extra.

Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze

This next page is another super quick one. I used mostly Smash type pieces for the page. The number sheet is actually a page for a booklet but a few strategically placed embellishments cover the pre-punched holes nicely :)

Again I have used the Glimmer Glaze to splatter across the background to take the starkness away. I have used the A2Z Scaplets chipboard 'Sweet little moments' and painted it with a metallic fabric paint. The effect is similar to liquid pearls.

Here is a school photo of Makayla, i dont know about you but find these school photos really hard to do. But loved the way this one turned out.

christmas is on its way.....

to be honest i love this time of year. 

i live in the tropics and i love the heat and the humidity and the rain. 

the smell of the rain and the bbq's because its too hot to cook inside, school holiday and hubby on holidays, being a family all together again, slowing down with days where we dont leave the house. and of course...christmas ...more importantly christmas lights!!!

when i saw this scraplet i just loved it... and i have made a sign out of it from mdf placemat that im sure i gotr from spotlight to go on the front door and next year when we have to move it will be a decoration that can come to the hotel with us so we still have a little christmas spirit.

all i have done to the holly and baubles corner and the december  months arrows

a2z scraplets is inked them, sprayed them with glimmermist pearl and added 3d liquid to the finer lines so they stood out a bit.

A quick post from Caz

Caz here with you today. I have been so busy enjoying my new grand daughter that I have hardly had a chance to create. So today I have a page to share with you from my grand daughters album. This will be the opening page of her album. I used the new release title And so the story begins....

 I just painted the title with a soft pink paint, simple so as not to take away to much from her birth photo.

I am having so much fun being a first time Nan and she is such a good baby. 4 weeks old today and still just perfect. Now I am off to spoil her some more ;)
