A perfect moment

Hello Everyone. The last day of June, the last day to enter our celebration challenge, so hurry and upload your entry!!

Today I am sharing a layout with a wonderful photo of my youngest daughter and I, I love this photo. Because the background is quite busy - I am not a "less is more" person - I have kept the embellishments simple. The circular frame was perfect.

Once again I have used the Art Alchemy Sparks paint on my chipboard. Raven black on the frame and unicorn's hair on the title.

The title "a Perfect Moment" can be found in WORDS - Family/Friends.

A2Z Scraplets has a large range of square, circle and heart frames - something for every occasion.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Day to Cherish

Hi it's Anne here
with a new layout using

This layout was first prepared by placing hessian and fabric on the page.

My A2Z Scraplets harlequin border and pieces were cut and heat embossed in distress embossing powder.

The title A2Z Scraplet A day to Cherish was painted in red. The harlequin border and pieces were  placed  on the layout.

The layout was completed with die cuts, veneers, shells, glass, fibres, beads, stamped tags.

Cheers!

"Blessed" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

One of my favourite things about chipboard - it really is so easy to embellish a page and create texture without too much effort.

Today's layout is a lovely simple page ... "Blessed"

I just love these adorable photos - they really show the friendship and individuality of my boys.

I've used the title Blessed
and coated it with white heavy gesso before creating a ombre look by combining distress crayons

In the layout you'll also find the Nested circles
which I've covered with "Apple of my Eye" embossing powder.

Background is simply Colour Blast paste "Sunshine" applied through a stencil and paper layering.

I'm loving the bright and textured result of this page - especially with the vibrant photos.

It was lots of fun and super easy to put together.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Double trouble

Hi Donna here with a page I created last year and have not gotten around
to sharing yet.
I have painted these leaves in dylusions paint
And this beautiful lacy border piece is just perfect!

Thanks for looking and happy Scrapping

Love them.

Hello all.

Today I'm sharing a layout of my lovely mum and my kids when they were young.
The little one in the green is my daughter Leah who celebrates her 20th birthday today.
That time sure did go very quickly.

The chipboard piece that I have used is called Mimi Doily. I have covered it with a light
coat of gesso using a sponge. Once dry I have roughly coloured it with a Tim Holtz
Distress Crayon called Peeled Paint. Using my finger I smudged the colour onto
the chipboard to cover the whole piece with an even colour.

Have a lovely week x

Amazing Scenery - by Brenda Caldow

Hello crafty friends and welcome to A2Z Scraplets. Brenda here with you today to share my layout I have created using two fantastic chippies.

The country photo I chose is from Corindhap near where I used to live. It is of some very old sheds and a storm passing through the area.

For my title I chose to leave it natural. I think it goes well with the colours I have chosen and I always need to remember they can stay in their raw form. I have a tenancy to always do something with them but there are times where I just need to say no, like they are is perfect and this is one of them.

For the frame I thought it looked really different things from the farm so I wanted to make it look real rustic looking. I first used an Acrylic paint and painted it brown.
Once this was dry I then applied some glue from my glue stick here and there over it. I then sprinkled over that with Tim Holtz  Distress Powder - Vintage Photo. I really does create that weather-worn look, very rustic. (Just like the sheds) I then tapped off the excess and it was time to heat with the heat gun. It isn't like embossing powder so yu must make sure not to overheat it and you will end up with a burnt look instead of what the powder should really look like.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my latest creation. Don't forget there is still time to join us on Facebook for this months challenge, you could be our lucky winner.
Please also keep scrolling down as there are many other wonderful designs and inspiration
from the design team.

Please don't grow up - Karen McLaughlin

Hi Karen here with a very cute photo.  I have used this lovely Flourish 83 which comes in 4 parts.  I cut them in half so they came out of the top of the photo and the bottom.  For the title I used Please don't grow up.  For the colour I inked and then wiped some off with a wet wipe.  This is the link to the shop http://www.a2zscraplets.com.au/products.php

Family Traditions

Hello. Today I am sharing another celebration page, using lots of great A2Z Scraplets chipboard.

Some more photos taken at Glenelg while celebrating my daughter's birthday.

The title "Family Traditions" I have painted with thick white acrylic paint.

The "Heart Border" I have cut into halves - using the other piece on the double of this page. I have painted this with Dylusions polished jade acrylic.  The "love" wordlet is also painted with the thick white acrylic.

It comes in a set found in WORDS - wordlets. These are such great value.

I have used some chipboard scallop pieces as accents on my page.
They are painted with Prima Sparks paint in raven black.

The scallop panel found in SHAPES - texture/decorative, I cut it into six pieces to use as accents on both pages.

Thanks for looking. Enjoy your weekend.
