"Memory" Scrapbook layout by Louise for August Challenge

Did you know that over in the Facebook group we have a monthly challenge.

Here is my inspiration page ...

"Memory"

I just love the colours of this months moodboard and those butterflies = sigh!

I had a grid pattern in mind, so I gathered some project life cards, some 3x4 photos and a couple of chipboard pieces.

The Camera Squares are one of my fav chipboards - I love how it looks poking out of this cluster.

I've also used the Circle Set and some sweet Butterflies.

For the border, I've added some stripes with Distress Crayons and smudged them.
It needed a little something extra, so I also added some texture stamping.

Today I'm sharing my first layout for the A2Z Scraplets team.

"Wild Weather"

My inspiration came from the colours, the chevron and I've also included some arrows.
Of course, I've also used the word Wild in my title.

I've used the Kiddie Sun Cluster Shape - available here

I've coloured the chipboard with Tim Holtz distress ink "Peacock Feathers"

Once dry, I've stamped with embossing ink and then used sparkle embossing powder and heat set.

Don't forget you can also use the centre of the chipboard as I've done on the page.

The circle pieces are also heat embossed with turquoise.
