"Summer Yesss"

In the A2Z Scraplets Store you will find gorgeous "Summer, Autumn, Winter & Spring" word titles.

I've used the Summer word and found the most summer photos I had in my stash.

What colours go with Summer, Why yellow of course.

I didn't want the layout to be too yellow, so I teamed it with some orange elements.

The chipboard title has a coat of white gesso and then coloured with Distress Crayons.

I've also mounted it on foam squares to help lift it off the background.

I really like the white background with the bright colours and those pops of black from the doily's in the layers.

Sometimes I love the simple pages the most.

Summer Family Fun by Anne

Its Anne (AKA Gorge Iss) here 

This is  my first post with A2Z Scraplets. I’m very excited and proud to be a member of the design team using this great chipboard.  Today I would like to  share with you my layout for this month's challenge. I’m sure you can tell I  just love the summer bright colors from this month’s mood board.

The background to  my layout was made with a  splattering of  acrylic paint in bright colors.

I used the chipboard word Family as my title and gave it a coating with  purple acrylic paint. I then splattered the chipboard with orange and lime green acrylic paint before finishing with a coating of Glossy Accents.  

Along with cardstock die cuts and colored gauze I added a couple of wood veneer pieces, faceted rhinestones and sequins to add bling to my already bright page.

"Summer's Here" Scrapbook Layout with Louise

I've got a bright summer layout for you today... "Summer's Here"

This adorable collection is "Hello Sunshine" from Fancy Pants Designs.

Perfect for the
Summer's Here word

I've given it a coat of gesso and then coloured it with the Tim Holtz Distress Crayons.

I printed my photo in 5x7 and then overlayed with the
Arrows in a circle frame
coated with Colour Blast embossing powder in "Apple of my eye"

I've used the packaging technique on the background with Colour Blast sprays and used the bright die cut ephemera from the collection to accent the papers.

Beach Bums

Hi,

Caz here with you today sharing a summer layout with you. Now winter is fast approaching it is nice to reflect back on lots of sunshine and summer fun.

 

 On this page I used the new release Beach Bums corner word.

 

To embellish the scraplet I sprayed halfway on the words with a blue mist and the other half with a green mist and a gold mist on the shells. I just accented the lines on the shells with a black pen and added diamond glaze over the top of the shells to give them a little bit of pop.

Then I added some blobs of diamond glaze randomly over the scraplet to look like water droplets.
